CHEERS to ur updates bro! To add a lil bit I'm using Dunlop Sportmax II....nt tat bad. can corner with stability and wet roads wont fishtail too.

just sharing some info...

Used the following tyres before...so i'll just give u all review on it..

Metzeler Sportec M1 : Overall rating [6/10]

very good mileage.. cant remember how many clicks the tyre last but it seems like the thread will nvr wear off..lol..

Not very good on wet weather...cornering not that syiok and theres no sticky feeling to the tyre.. few times i feel like my rear tyre skidded when cornering very low + fast.. But very worth the money.. Used it on Pasir Gudang... really2 not adviseable..no grip on corners.. engine break and it will fishtail... If u budget2 type and prefer a tyre that lasts really long.. go for it.

Bridgestone Battlax BT090 : Overall rating [9/10]

A tyre meant for corners.. really sticky and feel damn confident while cornering.. no problems on wet surface..once warmed up.. it literally picks up everything on the road surface..lol.. Didnt get a chance to try at Pasir Gudang but went up to Genting Highlands with it..went 180km/h at NSHW and feel really confident with it.. Mileage is bit dissapointing..wear out faster cos soft compound.. Really good for those corner siao.. not for frequent tourer.. its a tyre meant for tracks..

Michelin Pilot power : Overall rating [ Unavailable]

Bought and used today..sofar still getting use to the tyre... fells abit like Bridgestone

Bt090 when cornering..but not sticky enough... didnt literally pick everything up frm the road... havent tried on wet weather... will update bout this tyre when the time comes... :)

I was dreaming all the past, Why do good times never last?:gun:

Im a bit scared to use those L-tyre valve cos a friend went touring NSHW and the whole trye valve dissapear, trye 'bocor'. Speed of 180km/h constant plus the valve=abit wind resistance+turning in a fast motion.

I prefer the old 'cap' thingy.. Theres a trick to pump.. must clever find a suitable position.

btw my tyre pressure front put 42psi rear put 41 psi... how come front more than rear? written on the tyre wall...:cheeky:

Thanks Firdauz. I will try to find the better trick then. I just find it super annoying that if I am near to Esso and cannot pump due to its air pump head. :( Caltex need to struggle.. any suggestion? Thanks.

I always pump at esso with the normal cap. its possible bro jus haf to find the right position. Anw been using diablo for more than a year and it has a good mileage (so far ard 11000+km) . Good for those on budget and wants long lasting :thumb:

Guys i just want to know what is best tyre for S4 version S, meaning that can last long & HAVE A GD GRIP. right now i'm using Metzler M3, its a gd tyre but the back tyre

I have use batlax b4, it last long but not stable meaning during high speed shaky

try alpha11.. have very good grip. downside is that it wears off fast too.

depends on ur riding style. If you wanna very good grip, straight or corners, but will wear out fast, it'll be dunlop alpha 10. If gd grip only on corners but more lasting, then battlax bt 090.

i had tried sportec M1 before. Cornering grip is quite bad.

Now saw the new Bridgestone BT003, anybody tried it? is it good? seems to be the most exp so far in the bridgestione series for super four

Possible to use 140 for rear on a vtec?

even if possible i would not recommend.

wher can i get cheap or 2nd hand tyre ar?

go to your regular workshop, normally they will have 2nd hand tyres. unless you rarely see them helping s4 change tyres.

rear bt021 is very lasting but not the front

I coupled it with front mez1. Not bad

i agree~~ but overall i find it ok for normal use n occasional corner playing..

mileage of tyre for rear is acceptable.. but the front:pray:..

for budget less than $300 tyre, it's good ..

any 1 wish to add to comment? or have a better tyre that is less than $300?

so far M1 n M3 i used b4.. M3 lasting.. but during wet is a .
