Pilot Power looks good and have heard quite a bit of good reviews from friends... Intending to change to that once my current tyre wears out...

Talking about tyre wearing out.... My stock tyre (i think is BT50R) until now haven't wear out yet~! The threads are still very deep and it has been 1 year 5 months with 30k mileage. I'm getting worried.... its either the tyre is damn good and durable, or my tyre compound has hardened that's why its not wearing out...

Anyone has any opinions on this?

Bt020 is Z tires, is BT021 also Z tires?

will the BT021 also be so long lasting as BT020?

bt021 is rather new..so i guess nobody has yet to wear out a pair of them...the durability remains to be seen..

some bring joy wherever they go; others, whenever they go

You can check your tyres production date. Look around the tyre, you'll find something printed like this: 4040, it means 40th week of 2004. a pair of tyres ideally should be changed every year regardless of the milelage, because rubber hardens over time.

Yes, BT021 is Z speed rated.

How much mileage & durability depends on individual's riding style.

Don't bother comparing it with an obsolete model of tire...

It is a vast improvement from its predecessor with better grip, shock absorbent and all-weather performance which are good for sport touring.

In a nutshell, good performance & high mileage!

Now riding BT021 bout 2 month ago. So far it have a gd grip compare with dunlop when cornering. Wet surface not that grip enough . Overall rating personally i can say 9/10. BT021 is a new edition and improve performance static compare with the old BT020. Price get it from HKL $300 with balancing.......Highly recommended

Gd anot, better grip anot, hard to measure, it stil depends on one's ridng style.

Its a Sport Touring Z rated tyre.

In my opinion, its more suitable for heavier touring bikes.

Aniway, m stil selling my pair of 1 mth old BT021. Vtec size. $neg.

Can refer 2 my earlier posts in garage sales or BT090 vs BT021 tread.

Cheers.
