Gd anot, better grip anot, hard to measure, it stil depends on one's ridng style.

Its a Sport Touring Z rated tyre.

In my opinion, its more suitable for heavier touring bikes.

Aniway, m stil selling my pair of 1 mth old BT021. Vtec size. $neg.

Can refer 2 my earlier posts in garage sales or BT090 vs BT021 tread.

Cheers.

Z is the speed rating wat does have to do with weight??

eh....just checked my tyres.... saw the numbers "2605"....

does that mean my tyres were produced on the 26th week of 2005?

OMG that means my tyres are 2 years old with rubber then don't wear off~!!! :giddy:

seems dangerous if tats correct. :giddy:

the manual states that because it is theoretically required to do so. u should try to follow it to your best.

as for me... i've tried going at speeds higher than 130 and there's absolutely no problem with my patched tyre. however u should check your tyre pressure after that as a precaution.

If you see it from the structural point of view, there is a break in the continuity of the nylon or steel radial case of the tyre. So whenever can, don't hold it more than the manufacturers advice for too long.

You can check your tyres production date. Look around the tyre, you'll find something printed like this: 4040, it means 40th week of 2004. a pair of tyres ideally should be changed every year regardless of the milelage, because rubber hardens over time.

i tried to see my tyre manufactured date, but it seems there is too much number..

so how do i know which is the correct date..?

need to find out asap..

Z rated mean >240km/h U see in order for the tires to survived high speed, the need of construct a stronger tires by providing more steel belt or kelver wat ever to hold them at high speed this also increased the weight of tires...

IMO,Super 4 cannot go more than 200, might as well use H rated tires, cheaper, warm faster and lighter weight. Less unsprung weight, more responsive the sus, brakes etc..

But there are not much decent H rated tires around....Only one I can think of is 090...

The part where the tyre was patched lasted only 3 months. after that the effect of the patch was gone and air came out from the same spot. :giddy: Common?

Patched it once more time tho. Should last another 3 months?? If it happens at the same spot again, time to change my tyres oredi i think.
