yeah.. if it's just for a yr, can consider la(although i rem u mentioned once b4 that u are not at all interested).. TA150 is a better bike compared to TA200, but its a 2 stroke.. FC also slightly higher.. moreover, want to find one good condition one also diff..

if u are willing to fork out a little more $$.. can also consider varadero 125 since u are pretty tall.. .. but this is a little bit more ex.. FC wise, i not very sure, seems like it also falls on a pretty high side for a bike of its class, abt 28km/ltr maybe?? but it is comfortable.. for ur height, shd have no prob handling it.. if u want more info, prolly can go to scramblers section and ask.. but once u decided on this, u will prolly stuck with this bike for some time.

but she can have the bike lowered to her comfortable height right?? i once accompanied my fren to view a bike.. this KTM200, also modded to a motard, was lowered to suit the rider's height.. the owner is a female and she's abt 1.6 like that.. still, she can handle tip toe when on the bike.. she also upgraded to class 2A.. 2A, ur fren still can handle la.. wait till class 2, where she is required to lift bike.. maybe then she will have a prob..

 

lowered already.. any lower, the suspension wouldn't be effective already.. 2a need to park on main stand anot ar? if need, she good game liao!

 

a scrambler, high CG, if fallen over, it's hard to pick it up then a norm bike. no wait.. it's easier! hahaha.. but she can't even do it, heh... hw to pick up 2a bike if dropped?

well.. almost all bikes can reach thailand.. my fren and his grp went up there on a kup b4.. spark, wave, u name it, they have it in the grp.. TA150 also have..

 

when comparing TA150 to TA200, we always compare the power as in pick up, speed, etc.. TA150 is much better in these area.. TA200 is more of an economic bike.. good FC, electric start.. maintenance wise, i find both the same..

haha.. go around sg bike shop look around 1st.. but bring someone experience there with u.. certain bikeshop are not exactly honest.. there are certain things that pple can help u look out for.. at the same time, know the market value of the bikes.. so that in case u decided to get from classified ads or something, u know the price range..

something are not easily forgotten.. however, pinkchick.. i also burnt by my exhaust b4.. even burnt by my bike chasis b4 .. most pple here with biking experience as a rider or a pillion high chance have one.. that's why it's good to wear jeans to ride.. it minimises the chance of that happening..

ta150, need 2t oil.. alittle more expense on that part when you pump petrol..

ta200, just pump and go.. lesser power than ta150..

tell me abt it.. helped my fren take care of his TA200 when he was overseas(i'm the 2nd named rider).. that time got this car tailgate me so i throttle up.. i throttled to max but the bike's speed increment was almost null.. that was the time i fully understood the power diff between the 2 different phantom..
