Do you guys bring your bike to suspension specialist to rebuild?

 

how often do it?

 

i heard that one particular popular one is david/daniel ong? know where is it?

What is the benefit for rebuilding suspension? Sorry, I newbie at this.

Also, how much will it cost roughly, at bikelab? Thanks!!

cost id $110, include clean/scrub the internals of the fork, change oil seal, dust cover, change of fresh fork oil. service my PB1 there last year mid nov/dec. til now still gd..

kinda exp, but u r getting professional workmanship.:thumb:

1996-1997 : Honda CBX 125

1997-2006 : Honda Project Big 1

2006-2011 : Yamaha Fazer 1

2011-2013:- Harley Davidson XR1200

2013- now: Something BIG..

I just went last week, but was on waiting list...too much bikes for servicing. $140 was the price he gave me. front fork.

bikelab? wah. in jus a few months the price go up by so much...:confused:

Last Dec before the wedding, i checked with them.

$120 with seals and everything !

wow...well now i noe i need ard $120-$140 at least...

thanks every1...

but can any experienced guys tell me what shld the whole process of servicing the front forks include other than those listed below?

1)clean/scrub the internals of the fork,

2)change oil seal(is fork seal n oil seal the same?) n dust cover,

3)change of fresh fork oil

 

cause my mech quoted me $130, change fork oil and oil seal (or something like that)...so checking to see if he's quoting me a full package. :sweat:

 

and how long would it take? (i c some1 mentioning waiting list somemore):giddy:

$10 difference, i must as well go for the specialist

wah...i intend 2 go dwn 2 do my frnt oso...did my rear in march n due 2 no stock he did nt put the spacer 4 mi...so when go dwn do frnt he wil put spacer 4 mi oso... :smile:

:help: Why? took the earlier CRITICAL comments on why they serviced front fork without changing seal that is why now change business technique, is it....hahahahahaha:help:

sorry ah, does your fork seal refers to the dust cover? or the oil seal? when i changed, he did changed the dustcover and the oil seal.. :smile:

My left rear shock leaking I think I will try their service very soon, lucky not mono shock, if not have to go down faster.

 

Rebuilt or buy new ones? Cos my friend rebuilt cost $200 and I dont think can find a decent shocks for $200.

Wonder what is the price now.......?
