very simple. Just buy a box of thirsty hippo. Then put the jacket and thirsty hippo into a plastic bag and then tie tight. This is discourage mold.

To remove existing mold, buy a leather cleaner.

I love johnson baby oil.

I will pour it on the mould, then use a cloth to rub those moulds clear out of the leather. Use a toothbrush to scrub off the mould if I have to.

Then rub the oil into the leather all over. the oil might darken your leather jacket though, and the mould spot might be darken then the rest of the leather.

Then store the jacket again with thirsty hippo in a airtight box.

because my ultra old leather jacket gets worn a lot. So I dunked it in a pail of johnson baby shampoo and clear water ever so often. You might want to try some scrubbing at the mould while you are at it.

Then air dry it before I apply the oil.

Oil is good to wipe off mould. Once cleaned than keep it dry. The vacum bag is more for long term storage. For daily use just put it in a wardrobe with thirsty hippo in.

I just love the looks, feel and sound of an old good Guzzi, though it has been around since the time of my Grandfather. I guess "they" don't do things like that anymore! Well it's not true.

"They" still do URALS
