seems like you're targetting super sports category, in that case I shall go more to quality and styling. By far I like the ZX-636R, GSX-6R and CBR600RR. I'm riding a honda now (*not a super sports) I simply adore the quality of its engine, electrics and stuff. Parts wise still quite affordable, easily available.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

From a comfort perspective for both rider & pillion as well as wallet, more userbility for street use + prob can install main stand,

I vote CBR600 F. ( newly launched. Essentially a Hornet 600 with full fairing ).

1997 TZR 125 - 1998 FZ 150 - 1999 GSXR 400K - 1999 RX 100 - 2000 LC 125 - 2001 TZR 125 - 2002 CB 400 Ver S - 2006 CBR 929 - 2006 GETZ 1.4 - 2009 STEED 400 - 2016 ???

gonna get a 600 sports too, r6 wins hands down in the aesthetics, i can't believe the new models of cbr6 still look almost the same, it's SO FUGLY, and this is coming from a cbr4 rider

performance wise i can't say much, still waiting for my class 2 TP

Although I'd get a 1litre bike if class 2, but since you're looking for 600cc..

Either R6 or CBR600RR. GSXR600 is just so damn ugly.

But from the above posters you can see some may not agree so aesthetic wise it's really up to what you like.

For 600cc bikes the performance is similar. Not same, but similar. There will be differences in low/top end performance.

I recommend its best to try the bikes and see which fits you better. R6's seating felt slightly more aggressive for me.

Maintenance wise its gonna be pretty much the same and since its not an Italian bike your pocket won't burn a hole I guess.:cheer:

Just choose the bike you're most happy with! You can't go wrong with either. :)

having ridden cbr600, gsxr600 and now a triumph d675, I would prefer the d675 for its low / middle range power and exhaust note. but if I hafta choose between cbr and gsxr, I'll go ahead with the cbr!

aesthetic is very subjective. so not much to comment.

I personally think 1litre bikes are overkill for sg. makes u lazy as u can cruise in any gear at any legal speed. 😁

then again, choose the bike that your heart beats to! ❤️

do you guys know of any trustable bike shops? which buy would u recommend and what issues do they have?

or do you have any good lobang for class 2 bikes?

thanks.

Will not recommend the sports category for my age. As I am in my early 30, the sport posture does post some challenge during long journey.

In any case Honda or Yamaha is the best!

Did any one went to mod the pillion seat to a softer one??? And how is the pillion position , it's back breaking? ? Cause most of the time I will be pillioning my gf

I think it's back breaking because you have to lean forward a lot with nothing much to support your weight except your wrist and back. (;
