transfer of bike

i read the above sticky but i find the information limited

i wish to know how to sell a bike...

I have a buyer for my phantom but i have no idea how to transfer the bike to him.

my bike is paid in full and it is under my name.

hi bro, here are the steps to transfer ownership provided that the buyer is going to settle the amount in full with no bike shop involved.

 

1) Buyer to purchase vehicle insurance (Insurance date should start on the day of transfer or eariler) - You need to provide him the plate number.

 

2) Go down to LTA together, get a Q number and fill up a pink form at Level 2.

 

3) Go to the counter and produce both parties NRIC, vehicle log card and buyer valid vehicle insurance.

 

4) Transaction completed once buyer pay for the transfer fees.
