Purchase of bike from overseas

Hi

 

I am stationed overseas and may be buying a bike. To be safe for importation I would be getting a model that is available in Singapore roads as well.

 

The bike would be bought brand new there and used for a year or more and then shipped back. So it would be in used and dirty condition.

 

Any know knows if its worth shipping a common bike like yamaha 125, suzuki 125 or kymco scooter into singapore? I will have movers to help in the shift but the estimated cost involved?

Any surprises I might have?
