Laucheh,Yours is both wash and tune or just purely tuning?

Hows the working attitude of the mech?

I rather pay more for a nice job instead of paying small money and bring back big problem.

does Planet Motor wash and tune carb too? shd be rite? cos i heard quite gd comments abt tat place. tot of goin there to do my servicing and wash and tune carb at the same time. my usual motordiam is First Motor. tot of checkin out the other motordiams....

Got mine done at Sanfu for $70.

They use the Snap-On digital meter.

 

After servicing, the engine become smoother and more power....

to me washing the carb is a bit of bullshit to me, but i still have it wash once a year anyway. why bullshit, coz only petrol is used and i dun really understand how it can actually clean it whereby petrol is always in the carb anyway. it more like draining to me. however sometimes we get to see some residues residing in the carb. that'll have to go.

after dismantling the carb for the so call wash, a tune is a must and necessary becoz settings have all run away.

bike shops charge between 60 to 80 bucks for wash and tune.

dun forget to replace the air filter or change it to K&N filter. a bad air filter may also conttribute to hi fuel consumtion. and many other factors as well.

Hehe.. ya im riding S4 (Ver.S)

The name of the motortiam is K&T Accessory Trading Ptd Ltd located at Blk 3006 Ubi Road 1 #01-372 Tel: 67455463. They are using the digital machine to do the tuning. He may nt offered the best price in town but the quality of the work done there is good. Can look for clifford the chief mech there.

Yes K&T open from mon-sat till 7pm. Only close on sunday and PH. So are u going down this coming sat?? Ard wat time? Might be going down too..

Heard my mech said carb only need tuning if u c the rpm meter fluctuating a lot unnecessarily.

K&T accessories.... Its really wat u pay for, service and quality. My 1st bike phantom was from there, now my super 4. Boss & boss wife combo partner in work. Clifford & Chris. Nice people.
