help! com no sound

can anyone here give some advice here? my com got no sound from speaker. i check everything already even reinstall sound card driver and i check the setting its not mute but still no sound coming out from the speaker.is it the reg problem ?

how bout the card itself ? mebe there's a cable that came off ? or loosen ?

First, check ur cable, is it inset into the output port of the sound card? Either inset into the output port, or the headphone port of the sound card. (It will have the headphone symbol)

 

Next, check the sound card under the hardware, is it available, or gone? If gone, you have to take out the sound card and re-inset into the slot to try again.

 

Third, if available, uninstall the driver, and than reinstall, you should have some audio codec after installation.

 

Next, go under property of sound device, and check for output device, is it set to your sound card, or none available.
