hmmm when will be the time... all the dna warriors get together... outing... go seletar dam pose here n there.... let em go gaga over our collections... unique bike.. with a toilet bowl wchich act as a tank... hmmmm dna hard to find nowadays... so.. i think its alrite if a dna were to be sold at a high price. agree dan? alex? mich? everyone?? AND I HAVE MADE MY DECISION ON NOT TO SELL MY DNA!!! woooooooohoooooooooooo.

i got a prob, or maybe i dont

my bike riding style for the past two months daily WAS

i go at 85 max. some how i always felt the bike was weak...as the throttle was always stiffer at the point of 80. so i always kept it there, never trying to pull it harder.if i do i would do it gently for a while maybe to 85 .

that day,

i pulled it hard. i went hundred. and i pulled the throttle despite the resistance at 80 i mentioned...

then, i mean now, my bike is vibrating, very unsual vibration. the handle bars vibrate buzzing sound cause of excess vibration. seat is vibrating too.backside itchy sometimes. BUT! the bike is more powerful now, pick up is faster and throttle is no longer stiff at 80. so guys what ya think? the vibration, is it a cause for worry?loose screw? thankies michelle.

hard to have a all dna outing since not many read this thread everyday... and mostly ex dna owners are closer... so don expect too much lor

think we will have to test and listen to know the prob... no such probs yet... maybe your butt too sensitive?

well ya. its louder too...and the vibration is noticeable during throttle begin and slowing down... think i gonna get it checked tmr... i was thinking maybe the bike is more conditioned, it has not broke 100 in a long time.

I think its normal lehz.... DNA tend to vibrate a little when under load. However, Im not sure if its normal if you have excessive vibration right after yr landspeed attempt. Possibly pipe mounting screw dropped off? Take a visual inspection around.. You don't wanna lose yr GPR pipe in the middle of the highway!! ha.

 

The 80kmh 'resistance' should be a slight dip in yr mid range power caused by the GPR pipe. No worries about that. Just ride faster than 85kmh will do. Anyway, its no stress for a DNA to travel at 100kmh constant for long distances. So don't worry. Maybe yr previos lack of power was caused by the excessive carbon built-up caused by the pro-longed slow riding??

 

Let us know what's the outcome of yr 'inspections'.
