Not really, it was just your typical stock GPR exhaust. If I remember correctly, Michelle has a spanking new GPR bracket as the old one was a little worn out.

Cheers

Ya maybe, and maybe is because I am the only DNA with the stainless steel GPR pipe, everyone else rather have the poppy patterned one!

Cheers

Poppy rocks. Inox is for frying pan. :nono:

Frying pan material is good, can fry an egg on the pipe if you are hungry...

Cheers...

Yeah, can fry extra and keep 'em warm in the 'toaster' compartment. :hungry: :hungry:

Hi all,

Got myself a DNA for about a month.

The bike seems to be give me some problems, hope u guys could give some help here.

The problem is that sometime when i travel at around 80-90km/h on the expressway the engine would suddenly cut and i would have to wait about 1mins before it can be started again.

I would also have some problems starting the bike sometime, as in when the bike start already, 2 -3 sec later it will die off again.

Have been to workshop a few time to have it checked.

Things that haven been done so far:

1) Fan thermostat was spoilt as a result the fan will not turn on when needed.

2) 1 end of the coolant tube was blocked as a result it could not cool the engine properly.

3) Carb has been washed.

4) Engine oil has been changed.

5) Idling has been tuned up slightly.

6) Lastly the magnetic coil has been changed just last week.

Sorry for the long post.

Hope the pros here could give me some advice, its just so dangerous for the engine to cut suddenly.

Hi,

First, change the thermostat, I did mine at Botak last time, he did a good job on it. As for the engine dying on you, it is quite vague, can you tell us whether the coolant indicator was flashing? And have you tried changing your "perishable parts" such as sparkplugs? And the air filter?

As for the coolant, I can try to help flush the system for you, hehe, I charge cheaper then shop, ask dying, $10 for everything, hehehehehehe...

Cheers

Sorry, forgot to mention the thermostat has already been changed.

Spark plugs and air filter has been changed less than a month also.

Coolant has also been changed.

The indicator that comes on after the engine dies off is the engine oil light.

Current idling is somewhere around 1.7- 1.9k
