Hi Guys any one tried to put bigger tyre to the back. Like 140/70-14 would it fit. Just that I finding difficult to find Pirelli GTS 24 140/60-14 or anything else in that size in Australia.:help: :help:

Hmmm, I am not too sure if it will fit though, worse case scenario, stroker and spider are more then willing to ship you a fine pair of LAB racing inc. tyre setup! Haha, if you don't get the LAB racing inc. joke, it is a singaporean thing, excuse the pun...

Cheers!

Have you tried scooter-center? Worse case, like I said, we buy and ship you a tire set from Singapore. Should'nt there be a piaggio dealer or service centre down under?

Cheers

Scooter centre + freighting to down under will be a killa!!! Especially stuffs like tyres!

Anyway, I think you'll get a much better deal locally. Like what Dan Meister suggested—or rather—volunteered, sending you some should be hellava cheaper affarir then the scooter centre route.

Cheers dude!

PS: Go for either MAxxis or Michelin Gold Standard. IMO, both are better then a stocker.

Bro, you don't mind me asking, did you opt for the cheapest deal around? I tot there're a couple of DNAs for yr selection when you're buying one. Your 'mech' fren that followed you around actually recommended this bike?

But if the reason is because it indeed is the cheapest, why would you wanna get the cheapest (I dunno, at least thats what I guessed cos I tot my fren offered you a pretty good deal, but you opted for this instead) deal and spend a fortune doing up your bike all over again?

You'll spend more this way. UNLESS you're telling me that no matter whatever the bike/ condition of the bike is, you'll still do everything up, than makes more sense to me.

But pardon my frankness, the money you throw into the outlook/ overhaul/ upgrade etc won't be proportionally translated into your selling price. So be metally prepared to lose a huge chunk of your money through these kind of repair bills. Bike price wont depreciate that much, but neither will it gain. It can only go lower by the year.

Cheers!~

PS: great! :thumb: for your efforts in doing up yr bike!

It's a long story...

I didn't go for the cheaper deal cuz its direct owner and i couldnt tell if the bike is in good condition anot.

My friend wasn't ard when I took this bike. I figured that since its from a well-known bikeshop, there shouldnt be so much problems right? Well...wrong, im way wrong, after assurance from that bikeshop that the bike is OK, so I bought it. Brought it to my friend's bikeshop and found out all the problems stated.

Didn't surprise me much though...It broke down the night I went to collect it. -__-

Rear brakes jam and steelbladed hose burst, good thing I got off the AYE in time. Not a very good experience getting my first bike and riding the first time on the open road huh. zzzz....

It's a good thing I love this bike, it's probably the best among the 2B bikes to me. So doing it up wont hurt me that much XD.

Yea, i noe abt the resale value...still...refer to above. Guess I probably skip 2A bike and go for class2 bike when i get my license lol.

Is the bike under garantee with the bike shop? When I bought my bandit, I was given a one month garantee on the bike, and they changed the brake disc and gaskets for me.

Cheers
