Wow, so much to do on that Gilera. Anyway, I just mounted the panniers on my bandit, sweet! Now not only is she ugly, she is fat too! Muahahahahaha.

Cheers

Dude, if fat, still can diet. If ugly, it is in the genes...no help!!!

Therefore, to be FAT with panniers, the bike needs to be TALL and at least FIERCE...*hint hint* hehehehhe

It's a long story...

I didn't go for the cheaper deal cuz its direct owner and i couldnt tell if the bike is in good condition anot.

My friend wasn't ard when I took this bike. I figured that since its from a well-known bikeshop, there shouldnt be so much problems right? Well...wrong, im way wrong, after assurance from that bikeshop that the bike is OK, so I bought it. Brought it to my friend's bikeshop and found out all the problems stated.

Didn't surprise me much though...It broke down the night I went to collect it. -__-

Rear brakes jam and steelbladed hose burst, good thing I got off the AYE in time. Not a very good experience getting my first bike and riding the first time on the open road huh. zzzz....

It's a good thing I love this bike, it's probably the best among the 2B bikes to me. So doing it up wont hurt me that much XD.

Yea, i noe abt the resale value...still...refer to above. Guess I probably skip 2A bike and go for class2 bike when i get my license lol.

Well Gainax, I won't blame you. Sometimes, it is the kan cheongness that make us make immediate decisions to purchase. I was lucky in a sense when I got my DNA. I had more time as I was still pursuing in my quest for 2B. I bought the bike 6 mths before I got my license. The bike did not give me any problems at all except for that silly leaking petrol hose and the lousy battery it came with.

I can see your passion burning.... I 100% agree that this bike is one of the nicest around...but don't forget the GPR Poppy Carbon Exhaust... it will transform the look totally. In fact the bike look so tiong that every mutha, futha and son will stop and stare at the bike my I stop at the lights. Unfortunately, the bike was under utlised as I have cars and another 2B bike. So it was sold end Sep 06.

Till now, I yearn for the bike.... maybe if a good deal comes along, I may purchase one more....I also considering old Runners SP 2 stroke... reckoned that bike should be damn fun.

To get more inspiration, you can ask our Big Brutha Stroker for some of his old bike pics to be loaded.... it makes you cum.:cheeky:

To all you guys, thanks for the encouragement. I hope to show you all the final product of my bike soon. Just thinking of it gives me the goosebumps:lovestruck:

Saw Spy at Taihin sometime back, told me that the "kill Bill' DNA belongs to stroker  , Stroker, show me some of bike pics pls, dont shy lolz.

These pics are amazing, I didnt noe you can "kup" corners like that on a scooter. Maybe only Right turning corners, cuz I dont think you can do that on Left turning corners with the engine so low on the left side of the bike. :cheeky:

skipper is an old machine wher many mechs had lay their hands on...so any gd scooter shops can do a perfect rebuild for u...I had did a search be n actually being a more than 10yrs old bike we still can get a huge amount of orginal brand new spares locally including stuff like body panels...

aftermkt parts r plenty n easily found as well n most of it is co-share wif the 2stroke runner..wat best itz an air cool machine built way back then using the least n most simple parts same same as my runner except it has a water cool engine datz all :D

Hey guys,

Finally got my bike to be in good working conditions.

Was told by the mech that it is the fuel choke which was spoilt not the fuel pump.

Now it has become very responsive and engine won't cut off suddenly anymore :cheer:
