Aku still keep this statement by the late monklee (who left this world during 1 of his recce trip last May I tink) & paste it at my cubical. It inspire me when I feel down at times. It makes my job easier when answering stupid questions like, "why u ride? it's so dangerous u noe." :mad:

 

WHY I CHOOSE TO RIDE

 

Riding up takes on a totally different meaning. Traveling by plane only makes u another tourist going to another "Scenic spot". On the other hand, riding there thru the rain, sun, backaches, fatigue and confusion makes the final destination seemed like the PROMISED LAND. Many had asked "why do u like putting yourself thru such pain when there is cheap airfares nowadays?" Normally I don't bother to reply them. Words cannot describe that sensational feeling on the road.

 

As the cliché goes “is not the destination but the ride that matters".

 

With that in mind, forget about taking cheapest AirAsia, ValueAir, TigerAir or whatever budget airlines that is on offer.

 

RIDE UP; only true bikers’ understands.
