juz some guide:

 

CBR, RVF, GSX - category as sportbike so expect previous owner dah whacked puas puas dgn ni motor.....jadi expect wear n tear tu ada.....but to compensate for that, all depends on how he maintain his bike ie engine oil changed regularly, oil and air filter and so on.....furthermore, these type of bikes normally has high fuel consumption....don't be suprised that the reserve signal will light up ard 220 (should be similar to stock KR) but now, you hafta top-up about 15-16 litres (double your KR tank, i supposed)

OK..thanks for the guide man...

my budget is max 5k for machine...boleh dapat one of the latest cbr like end of 1999 or 2000??

Kalau bike ader leakage prob or i heard got alot of prob with rectifier, a rough range(which u can provide???) on the repairs will be ideal for me to set aside some budget 'for emergency use'... :sweat:

japz eh...CBR eh...

 

1. Aeroblade

2. Hurricane (RR model) (FG-FJ)

3. RL model (FJ-FL)

4. Fireblade (RN model) (FM-FP)

 

For FR, FS would be RVF already

 

ni main agak agak....dah lupa but hurricane was a FG plate....

 

price range to be 5-7K (i thinkso.....i mite be wrong here)

 

main problem for honda: rectifier & battery.....or worse coil (will cost ard 300-400 to repair) !!!

 

leakage prob tu me tak pernah experience but look out for steering cone (bearing), both front n rear suspension, front n rear brake disk, carburator tuning, radiator, tyres....do expect no original paintwork, ok?

 

wise to bring somebody experience to check out the bike for you....

just gentel (gentle) reminder :D

 

Maintaining CL2A bikes is totally different from CL2B bikes.......eg.

 

One set of 2 sprockets and 1 chain for 2B - $60 (ni main agak agak je)

 

One set of 2 sprockets and 1 chain for 2A - $180 (ni pun agak agak je)

 

Change engine oil for 2B - 1 litre - $20 (depends on what type of oil)

 

Change engine oil for 2A (400cc) - 3 litres - $60 (depends on what type of oil)

 

Change spark plug for 2B - 1 pc - $8-$12 (depend on brands)

 

Change spark plug for 2A (400cc) - 4 pcs - $32 (depend on brands)

 

cuma satu aje yang best using 4-lejang - NO MORE 2T!!! :lol:

 

ni aje yang aku setakat mampu tolong....pasal 2B tu banyak lupalah, maklumlah that was 12 years ago :faint:

OH...thx thx...about the GENTEL or gentle reminder...

 

The sprockets and chain seems ok...sebab time tu aku tukar O ring(RK tak salah) nye about 130...

 

For engine oil, aku musykil sikit sebab kedai aku slalu servis cakap 3.5 litre(that's equivelant to 4 bottles)..kalau kamu cakap 3 litres, tu 3 botol..

 

Yes...4 spark plugs...kalau ader yg $4 lagi baik..sebab kedai yg ku servis ader $10 nye je....

 

4 lejang bagus...Takder 2t and of course it'll lead to takder asap....

takder asap means that moto tak kotor atau berminyak and of course, aku takkan disaman $70 lagi :sweat:

helo GSR aku rasa macam takde CBR 1999 onwards, paling baru aku nampak pun FQ, TLK's price range of 5 - 7 K is quite accurate, ituari me and lumracer gi scouting

 

FN plate - 6.5 K

FK plate - 4.5 K

 

Kalau nak CBR, itu dia punya price band. :goodluck:

engine oil capacity best u cari manual to find the recommended amount, some bikes 3 some 4 bottles. U suruh kedai tukar, mostly they will charge 4 bottles.

 

Aku nya gajah kecil minum 2.6 litre with oil filter change, 2.4 w/o oil filter change,

 

So total 5L used for 2 EO changes kalau gunakan alternate oil filter replacement.

 

Yamaha ketuk aku 20 bucks just for oil filter, skrang pakai CBR 600 OEM punya 12, bucks at mah moto.

 

Belanja memang banyak dibandingkan dgb moto 2b, aku baru bayar road tax dan insurance, makan rumput and minum air hujan untuk brapa hari

Most likely dia beli GSX from fellow forumer, tgk kedai nya sakit hati, macam tak jaga, berabuk, nak test start, tak bole start. Kalau bole start pun, bunyi dia pun merunsingkan.

Aku rasa kalau book chalet pun cantik in case wet weather programme cuma cover charge bole cover operating cost tak?

Tadi aku jumpa tauke kat kedai moto in ubi, dia quote aku below 5k for FR n below...Dia kata dia leh carikan...

Ader fellow forumer(BOLUI) jual dia nye FQ plate for 4.7.....Sayang dia mintak cash...Secara tak sengaja, aku ternampak motor dia in wdl...
