Yep..make the bike but not urself...heheh!!..anyway everybike got their max hp...if u overtune,things like gearbox...clutch system...e.tc will "koyak" faster...plus u get more fuel consumption...

of course! to make it even much more powerful, perhaps change racing block and racing piston, then every month u have to change new block and new piston :faint:

To get more power, you definitely use up more fuel, thus fuel consumption increase. Might as well, get rvf or hayabusa where the engine is known to produce more power.

I guess some people just dont like to upgrade or choose an absolutely powerful bike. like my fren riding SP,he modified his bike to the fullest (illegally of course) and in the end, 10-12km per litre.

 

for them,they have locked their mindset. They just want to modified their bike to make it perform much much more powerful. while they know that, they can't compete with the most powerful bike such as busa or perhaps the dodge engine bike :faint:

 

but anyhow, I read one article in I can't remember the magazine's name. There's this one guy, modified his NSR250 (two-stroke) until it can beat R1 stock easily. quite magnificent actually. :thumb:

a Super4 is a good bike for riding in urban road that serve the owner well if taken care for.. yes being a 400cc it has speed and yes u can even mod the bike till kingcom comes and ride super fast. but in the end it is not a superbike .. it is still just a super4, even if it can go 250 kmph what good does it do to you? as a mod up rvf would end up being faster cos it is a sportbike.

 

what really makes a different is the rider.

why is Rossi that champion? cos he is the best rider around ...period

 

so it doesnt matter if you can go 300kph on the straight... "ooooo your super4 power lah...oooo" cos he have the money to mod siao siao..

 

but can you attack a bend at high speed.. can you read lines before a bend, do you have the skill to attack every corners with testicals as big as watermelons?

 

if you can then more power .. cos it will never be about the bike .. but the rider.. which one you rather have ?

That means my bike got 55bhp.... 53bhp + 2 stickers.... :lol:

Well to some ppls mod on the stock bike might get be a sense of achievement & satisfaction, not purly for racing purpose. It is also one's ability to show his knownledge with bikes. I jz brought a verS 2 days back, actually was tinking of a D.I.Y mob, first the exhuast, next is to increase the air flow & compression into the air-box..... sounded like a tubro rite? is not, will try it out once im free.

I don't understand some people mod the bike until ex. If invest the money can go get Class 2 and buy class 2 bike.

 

I saw this one S4 which the guy mod till about $11k and only increase HP about 13. For a stock GSR600, the HP is already 98 leh. So no matter how much mod is done still cannot match a 600cc.

 

To mod the bike to get better milage or make the bike more efficient or even make the bike 'beautiful', that I agree. To mod and make the bike faster is not only dangerous but a waste of money.

:sweat: 2 each his own. same as y wud u see SP owners modding their bikes m i rite? he's satisfied 2 b able 2 achieve smth whereby others cant.

Hi guys

 

sorry to disturb, but i'm a noob when it comes to modifying a s4. so can you guys help me pleaseeeeee?

it's a long story, so i try to summarise it...

 

currently, my boss has a FY plate spec3 that needs some servicing because it has been lying idle for 20months. he's going to let my colleague (a 50 yr old uncle) ride it so as not to let it lie idle. however, my colleague, that uncle, after riding 26 yrs on a LC tong, cannot get used to a few things on the s4, namely, the weak acceleration up to 8,000rpm (as compared to his LC tong) and the strong engine brake. so during that servicing he intends to change alot of things and charge to company account.

 

so he asked me, a specI rider, whether i know what kind of mods to do to the spec3 so that it will be faster. but i dont know nuts leh. so can you guys help me with some suggestions? eg. change to full system, etc. but change to wat system, the approx cost, where to get it fixed, etc. hope you guys can help me (or help my colleague) here, thanks alot.

 

fuel consumption and finances are not an issue here, (cos all claim from company mah) so please give me some suggestions on what to mod so that it can be as fast as his LC tong, or at least faster than the current stock setting.
