who u guys think will be leaving liverpool this year?

 

dudek is confirm to be leaving to look for 1st team play

 

have a feeling robbie fowler will be let go this season

My guess would be..

Zenden & Fowler & maybe Pennant. Though I am hoping Pennant would stay. But Rafa would prolly get another winger this summer.

That Brazilian left-back (God forbid I should forget his name) might be out also.

 

Given his new battlechest budget, if he offloads Fowler, David Villa might just pop up.

zenden also have high chance of leaving...a 30 year old winger doesnt make sense...

 

bellamy? lets see...although he can cause a lot of problems for many defenses...attitude leaves a lot to be desired...

and the best part is the brazilian midfielder is a holding player and a box to box one.. we already have gerrard, xabi, and javier.. maybe rafa is investing for the future??

 

but a brazilian in EPL.. im having doubts over that..

i will miss fowler...he has written himself in the anfield forklore....i will remember him for many years to come....

 

liverpool dont really have a tradition of having exceptional wingers...

 

they were more of a passing team...slow buildup...fustrating opponents...drawing them out of their positions then giving them a killer blow...

 

maybe things are about to change...

 

i do like to see a 20 goals a season striker...those who can be counted on to deliver the goals regularly....

 

and a playmaker behind the striker/strikers...someone who can conjure something out of nothing...eg maradona, zidane...

 

gerrard is a driving force...but he lacks the brillance to bring other teammates into the game...he always try to do it himself...

but if he doesnt do it?? who else??

 

his work rate really inspires his teammates to perform.. the 2005 champions league final and 2006 fa cup final are a couple of fine examples!
