stupid referee... Malouda jumped... and the double yellow card for Essien without red... Torres's goal is superb but he seems to be trying too hard to get fouled... Gerrard's pass is superb too.. Babel's shot is damn powerful... Man City 1 - 0 Man Utd.. Blackburn 1 - 1 Arsenal.. Ref spoiled the game!!!!!!!!:angry:

hey man city won leh ..

 

he got one from match play.. the 2nd is the one right after john terry/ frank lampard got booked and he was argueing to with the ref? it was when the commentator said he got his 2nd that i realised.. but no red card was shown and later on in the match, commentator said the yellow is for meant terry/ frank. Post match commentators said terry/ lampard was a long way away from the ref and charlton palmer said that the ref had shown the yellow, kept his cards for a while and took it out and showed it to essien( if this thing meant anything in refereeing terms) and "essien had his head in his hands thinking he was sent off" (his assumption)... but... haiz... Chelsea fans had a point presented to them with a ribbon while we are robbed of 2 points!!!!!

Back to the LFC match, what a freak show by the ref!?!?!?!

I really looked at the replay. It was as if Malouda wanted to take the shot, couldn't get there on time, jumped into the defender WAY after the ball has passed him and went tumbling down. Even if, by any chance of God, that the LFC defender wasn't even there to stop him, no way in hell Malouda could even take a shot.

Sigh...

The luck that schmucks get. Just like ManUre.

 

On the other hand, LFC have to share the blame a bit. We had plenty of chances and just didn'y convert. Riise & Kuyt had to clear shots in front of goal and skived it high.

 

On the positive note, Torres' goal was just..... just.... ah, words are a waste.

The way he glided past Ben-Haim after stopping was just.... just.... ah, words are a waste...

We Malays have a saying, "Rice has become a porridge." No matter how hard you try, can turn it back into rice.

Well, the FA could banish him into lower divisions....

There's always the kind of feeling that u had wronged ppl even when the matter had been put to rest.. but come to think of it... if they took it to heart, most refs would be leading sad lifes.. haha... :cheeky:

A rather scrappy affair.. but im glad we got the points. Good goal by both sissoko and voronin. Torres could have got at least a hat trick tonite...wasted a couple of chances...wat woeful finishing by him! Very poor outing considering the price tag dat comes along with him...

Somewhat agreed with you.

Considering I rushed all the way from Melaka on bike jsut to catch the match on time to watch him. :)

 

But may want to consider Rafa fielded an "alternative" team and changed the team shape around.

Otherwise, for a "rotated" team, a win is a win. Away, somemore. Better a win than "sexy" football and only 2 points from 3 games (where's newbie, ah?)

 

On a side note, may have problem in defence now as Carra might be out with a broken rib.
