Wah piang... what can i say... hahahahaa... totally your fault. I hope the glance was worth it :)

What speed regulation? Too slow or too fast?

not so consistent speed regulation i guess.. but generally everything quite ok. Too fast to ascertain that glance... lol...

Next time since look already then make sure see properly lar. don't waste... hahaa...

For speed regulation, my guess is in gear 1? do you release your clutch in gear 1? My own feeling is that when in gear 1, the torque is way too much and every slight movement of the throttle is going to look like you're "not in control". So try to always half clutch in gear 1 (except down slope, you need to fully release that clutch for the assessor to see) and it should be smoother. And get out of gear 1 as soon as you can.

Hihi! Have fun with your lessons! Erm, actually no real tips to expedite the process at SSDC. For lessons, you can only book one at a time. Only way is to book your lessons as soon as the system is updated.

Anw, to those having road lessons, the entrance and exits have been widened as of today (odd, i know) so do look out and dont position too close to each other. :p

1)Take your lessons seriously, but with an open heart and willingness to learn.

2) Practice, practice, practice. Before assessment lessons, take as many revisions as you feel you need. 2B circuit revisions aren't too expensive (compared to 2A/2)

3) Clarify when in doubt and try not to argue with the instructors - just learn as much as you can.

Other than that, it really depends on how often you book your lessons. It's possible to book more than one a day.

Enjoy the learning phase... its the safest place to ride in singapore... hahaa....

You can wait for people to "sell" their slots on the system. Sometimes on the day itself someone cannot make it for the lesson they will "trysell" in the system. That is totally legal in SSDC. I did it a few times. Due to work sometimes have to drop the lesson... other days especially if sat/sun someone might just drop theirs.

You want to expedite also cannot cos u can only advance if u pass a particular stage. So no need to think about buying lessons 3 times a day, it will never happen...

I did the same back to back booking for 2b, 2a and 2. By that I mean revision and then straight after that assessment lesson. Very tiring..and that is a long time to be breathing in exhaust smog. Headache. Hahaha. Do what suits you best.

If you're lucky... if you pass the am lesson there might be a afternoon slot for your next lesson that someone is trying to sell :p

Happened to me... once... only...

Got 1 question, when OTR, and turning into left filter lane, how many times do we need to check blind spot?

Twice. Before entering the filter lane, and before making the turn. Also remember to look for traffic!

Pass my lesson 6 today! Yea!

But I can only book my lesson 7 in May, sigh... all the timing I can't.

Have fun! Lesson 7 should be u-turn iirc. Eye-point and rear brakes are important, all else aside, it's a breathtaking experience, especially ona public road. :)

Total 3 times for the whole process.

Scenario 1: No stopping in the Filter land for pedestrian or cars

Left Blind Spot BEFORE entering filter land.

Left BS before TURNING in filter land passing zebra crossing

Down gears. Best to be at gear 4 then slow down to 3.

Check for Human traffic at zebra (slight movement to check right and left of zebra crossing)

Down gear. Gear 2

Check for traffic on Right for vehicles and left for traffic condition ahead of your path.

LEFT BS before exiting from Filter lane.

Scenario 2 : Pedestrain crossing Zebra crossing

Left Blind Spot BEFORE entering filter land.

Left BS before TURNING in filter land passing zebra crossing

Down gears. Best to be at gear 4 then slow down to 3.

Check for Human traffic at zebra (slight movement to check right and left of zebra, Human or bicycle spotted!)

Down gear. Gear 2-1. Stop

Wait for pedestrain to cross. Check BACK right!

LEFT BS after moving off! Because you are considered as TURNING LEFT in the lane.

Check for traffic on Right for vehicles and Left for traffic condition ahead of your path.

LEFT BS before exiting from Filter lane.

Scenario 3 : Vehicle at exit of filter lane.

Left Blind Spot BEFORE entering filter land.

Left BS before TURNING in filter land passing zebra crossing

Down gears. Best to be at gear 4 then slow down to 3.

Check for Human traffic at zebra (slight movement to check right and left of zebra)

Down gear. Gear 2

Check for traffic on Right for vehicles and Left for traffic condition ahead of your path. (Vehicle spotted!)

Down gear 1, Stop

Wait for traffic to clear.

Check BACK RIGHT.

LEFT BS before exiting from Filter lane.

If you kanna both... i think you should be quite suay... just merge 2 & 3 together...

And remember, please leave 1/2 a bike length in front of you so you have time to do all the BS check... too close and you will need to worry about hitting into the bike in front.
