Anyone know how to choose the correct size helmet?should it be abit hard to put it on your head or just slide it in.the shop owner told me the cheek pad should hold your cheeks firmly.

when i got mine at helmetboy, they just said it should grip your cheeks firmly but not too tight, if your face feels squished, its too small.

and your forehead shouldnt have any pressure on it otherwise you'll get a huge headache after wearing for 30mins or so.

like the above poster, try shaking your head side to side, the helmet shouldnt feel "loose" such that it will "lag" behind your turning movement.

Guys, any tips for U-turn? I failed my lesson 5 twice, either too wide or wobble.

Not a pro here, but I notice that throttle control is a big key and if I position my steering straight towards that direction I am turning after I check blind spot right, my bike would be upright.

I notice my friends who always turn wide or wobble is because they try to lean into the lane instead of keeping their bike upright, when they lean right halfway realize that its too wide they force the handlebar further in right, causing bike to wobble or footing.

So If I stop at the give way line and after I move off, do I change gear or I maintain in gear 1?

Change to Gear 2.

Throttle control is very impt for U-Turns,Most people tend to open throttle as they turn.Try practicing U Turns during CR.Just after pylon course.

This is so dead. Anyone having TP test on 15 may?

i give up on L7, fail twice, 24 and 32 points, mostly blind spots. then improper foot positioning, 1st time kena also, its like every time i go i will get a new fault.

seriously man... L4 dont want to fail me, wait til the most expensive lesson then fail me.

wtf, no time for this nonsense anymore.

Abit wasted if you stop at L7. So close to TP.

When you fail, they'll give you the score sheet with markings showing you where and what you get penalized for.

Take that paper,go CR and keep repeating that particular course. For blind spot, you basically have to check every time you corner, turn.

And try to book L7 in the morning e.g. 8:15am or 10.30am slot. Both circuit and outside have lesser motorists compared to other timings.

i dont have the mood to rush for it anymore.

maybe wait a few weeks then go again.

i was so confident in my circuit, i checked back so many times, but still get penalised for even more blind spots.

kill the mood.

I just passed BTT last week with 50/50. Initially intended to go for Class 3, but since cars are so expensive, I decided to go for 2B first. Since its cheaper to buy, run and maintain; I can also not squeeze in the MRT every morning on my way to Poly.

Since Poly starts in April, I will only enroll with SSDC once my timetable is out.

Anyone here is schooling yet taking Class 2B at the same time?

I am schooling at NYP and have booked for tp test 15 may. Dont waste your time.

Because it is abit hard to squeeze in time for prac lesson. Just go for lesson 0 first and go through the rest of the prac lesson. It will be easier for you when you start your poly life as prac 1 - 7 will take more than 2 months to finish

Noted. Will enroll either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Once enrolled, can straight away start Orientation aka Lesson 0 or have to wait? As I only have like 28 days of 'holidays' left and would like to cram as much and pass as much lessons as possible within the time frame.

Thanks.

I suggest you go there early (Morning) and see if there is any lesson 0 on that day. No need to bring any glove or helmet. Can wear shorts and slippers.

Trust me. Once you go through lesson 0, you will have the temptation to chiong your lesson. But don't expect to pass your lesson 1 first time.
