Firstly i like the overall looks of it.Plus its sort of fuel efficient.Secondly its not a sports bike so insurance will be cheaper. And lastly, maybe a little ego in play XD wanna look good ha.

Damn, I still have a long way to go...

Not trying to show off or what. But on the TP day itself,I've met people who are taking TP for the 2nd or more times and they are still optimistic about it.Try not to get disheartened.

Failing isn't the end.Giving up is

Not really sure.I tried using NTUC income's online quotation feature. And the quote i got for 3rd pt was $900+. For 3rd pt fire and theft was $1.4k

They're going to contact me tomorrow. So ill have more details by then.

Really? Last night when I went for my 3(ii) one of the instructors stopped an indian guy saying his PDL was expired. He was in the 3(i) group.

Few weeks back, a guy taking his 2A also got stopped because his PDL was 1 day over the expired date.

Ah... 2A where got PDL...

I guess for the guy taking L3 once he pass L4 he will be on the road... so I think more of less should have PDL already... but they should not stop you from taking CR or L4 and below. since its in the circuit. PDL is needed on the public road.

I'm >35... I got my TA200 insurance at 360++ first year. Then 2nd yr I think it was 170++.

When u passing :p I have a TA200 for sale... considering to sell... left 1 year 3 months... a little sad to sell cause got feeling attached... first bike... hahaha...

Now alternating the rides... TA200 is a easy rider... you will be like... sweet... comparing to the CF150 you are riding now :)

Damn, I still have a long way to go...

Don't worry bro... we all felt the same "I have a looooong way to go" when we are taking the Lessons under the eagle eyes of all the instructors...

Eventually the practise will see you through. Key thing is to ask questions on how to check what blind spots and such. Make sure those are VERY CLEARLY demonstrated to the TP on the day of test. And try to decide on a few bikes which you are comfortable with the clutch biting point. Especially for 2B bikes, some of the idle RPM is higher so its harder to "stall" the engine. Some stalls even at gear 2... exiting Figure 8... so pay attention to the bikes.

:)

I passed my 2A already :) still got one more class 2 to go next year :)

Unfortunately, having CL3 does not make the insurance cheaper... :\ tried already... I've been driving for 17 years... not even a cent off... they say its totally different... which I agree. :) its more fun to ride hahahah!

Really? So only able to brake on the plank and while going straight?

How about doing U turn?

Sent from my Clarion AX1 Android head unit using Tapatalk

U-turn you use brake and you'll prob need to put your foot down.

Key thing about U-turns is EYE point. Look at where you want to turn. Next, speed is controlled by your CLUTCH + Throttle. HALF Clutch works best for U-turn. Need more speed, just turn the throttle. It will accelerate smoothly.

The problem I used to face is I always release the clutch fully... then very hard to control the throttle... turn abit only look like I'm riding a Bull...

So best tip for U-turn. Half clutch.

long way to go, like i mentioned, no interest in "cheonging" for TP now, just taking it slow and easy.

i also forgot all the blind spots for circuit, so if i go for L7, just gonna fail again.

The map at level 5 has all the indication when to check back and blind spot. Go a little earlier to refresh your memory then practise that?

It's only a matter of time before you get used to the turning of heads.

Hi everyone,

Currently taking class3 at ssdc.... was thinking of signing up 2b

for transportation to work.... is it very hard ?

When you are learning, its hard because you'll get confused and scared sometimes. Try not to listen to what other people say like "Wah,Lesson 4/7/TP dam hard.Confirm cannot 1 time pass de". If you let yourself believe what they say, they you'll attend that particular lesson/test with a "i'm going to fail" attitude.

If you are someone who has time and is able to go for lessons frequently, you be able to pass in 6-8 months.Assuming you pass TP in 1 attempt

Personally for me,i think the way you think plays a huge part while learning to ride.If you're afraid to fall, then you're movements will be restricted and more hesitant. In situations where you can manage, but your mind tells you that you cant. Therefore your body will be stiffer then usual. That is while you're still learning in school. But i'm not saying that not afraid of falling is entirely good.Being afraid of falling will make you more alert to the dangers on the road.

On the public road, its entirely up to the way the rider wants to ride.

And yes I've passed.Just 2 weeks ago though
