Bike currently travel a distance of 1400km so far.

 

FC under Touring mode - 15.7km/litre (Looks like this is around the average i got after a few top ups. Previous FC calculation might be wrong.

 

FC under a mix of Sport mode & touring mode(most of the time sport mode) - 14.88km/litre

 

Will try FC under sports mode.

not many bikes comes with semi-active suspension,though not the first in the market.Nevertheless ADD with Aprilia's own patents.

Fully-active should be in the near future...... Enjoy your ride.

Had a good 1 day trip to the state of Malacca in Malaysia.

 

To and fro manage to clock a distance of 513.6km. 1 thing I realize is that its more fuel saving when I'm traveling on the highway with speeds over 130km/hr and its in SPORTS mode. Once i got into the town area, and the FC(Fuel Consumption) sucks. LOL.

 

Realize that the bike dried my EO(Engine Oil) and need to top up about 250ml. And also found out the coolant resevoir was also dried up. Got the mechanic to top up for me. Guess I gotta keep a look out more often on these 2 areas.

 

Anyway, traveling on the highway was great fun. Smooth bike. Current seat is comfortable for me. Got to test the cruise control and it works pretty fine, except that i gotta use my left hand to activate it. And I will definitely get the add on to the screen. Highest point is not enough for me. Wind turbulence still hitting on my helmet and its a nuiscance when traveling at high speed.

 

Look forward for further travel up to Malaysia and maybe to Thailand some day.

Sport Mode at Malacca town - Mixed of abit highway and mostly city riding

89.0km / 7.0litres = 12.71km

 

Touring mode back to Singapore - Highway only

214.6km / 11.6litres = 18.40km/litre

I rode a 1000cc capo for the last 4 years... was told that there were only 6 capos in SG. the bike so far is in good condition so i decided to renew the COE.

Oh wow! that's even rare! read about the ETV and most owners were very much satisfied with their bike. How i wish the new caponord have the same size front wheel as the ETV ones...

 

Anyway..any chance you were the one i saw outside Motoworld some time back??

Not that I know of...I'm waiting for one too. Anyway best is to wait for exhaust servo eliminator for caponord to be available first. Currently, owners have intermittent warning sign lighted up when they fix the aftermarket exhaust.

Caponord is the 1st bike in the World with FULLY AutoMatic Suspension.

It has senors on the suspensions , swing Arm and can sense the vibration and Auto Adjust the Suspension according to the Road Conditions + according to the Weight of the Riders or Rider & Passenger or Rider & bags or Rider & Passenger & bag.

What about the new Triumph Tiger sport 1050? Comparable? Me too at first would like to go for the orange KTM Adv 1190, but with current coe, price too high already.

 

Last.. just saw the advertisement on the said Caponord on Motoculture magazine. Eye catching indeed. Like Multistrada..

We have Owner of Triumph Explorer 1200 riding the Caponord and he was so surprise that in Gear 2 the bike is already 100++km/hr and its still going.

 

and he mention when the Caponord bike is cruising at 100km/hr at Gear 6. and when he want to over take , just rev the throttle and the bike is will accelerate fast in Gear 6.

while on his Triumph Explorer 1200, he need to Drop one Gear in order to accelerate.
