Hmmm did wat u did b4... In e end i find it no point coz these pple will not learn their lesson.. Now i juz take down their vehicle no n write in to TP.. a few already kena slapped with fines n demerit points n dat satisfy me..

 

How u manage tat while riding? Becoz now must accompany with evidence right?

 

Actually for me, if i can, its more satisfying to tell them off. their faces, priceless.

reporting to tp may not work, and even when it does, i wonder if to will inform me of their verdict? Lol

today not while riding but while going to my MSCP when reach my fav spot i shock that my old heat proof bike cover elastic rope is stolen...bike cover kena aim some more is very old already scare my part go missing..no money to buy mah?WTH..sorry here to vent out anger..

So you left your bike cover out in the open?? Maybe in the fire hose reel box like some people do?? Anything out in the open is fair game man... haha.

Ive my way bro... In 1 of e incident ive even stopped another rider to b my witness.. Well 12 points n $200 is worth it for me to go thru thosd hassle juz to ensure that tis mangkuk dun play f**k.. Im sick n tired of telling of tis drivers/riders, let e authority do it for me .. Well juz a gentle reminder though, if u still prefer to stop tis drivers/riders to give ur piece of mind, juz dun use vulgarities or threatening words, else if they/pillion/passengers bound to record it down it might not b good for u

Good. We both do our part in our way to make e roads safer. Do share with me ur way if not suitable to post in forum. Else do share so tat maybe more of us can actually copy wat u do.

 

I do intend to get a mounted video cam to assist in my "enforcement". Then i only need o report.

 

In e meantime I'll continue to give stern advice. And I'll take note of ur words not to use any scolding or vulgarities. So far i dun do tat.

Today on bke heading towards woodlands at around 9.30am saw a bus on lane 1. Is those 40 seater big bus type. It was traveling at least 110.

 

Surprisely, e cars in lane 1 gave way. then again not tat surprisely as i ve similar experience in australia before, those duper highway trucks behind u, can be very pressuring.

 

Ps: before we debate about e legality of wat e bus did, let's assume tat e bus has a emergency.

Curious but wats e story?

1*05 was behind me and we are cruising on the fast lane.. Along came this taxi entering the expressway moving from Lane 3 to 2 ..

Despite being holdup at lane 2 at a low speed, he proceed to filter to the fast lane at approx 70-80km/h or might be lower.. Causing both of us to brake heavily to avoid collision. After being on the overtaking lane, he is going 80-90 all the way.

What follows I can't remember the exact details.

These buggers r another type of accidents waiting to happen. Rather than trying to achieve e lane 1 spd before changing, they will change lane regardless of their spd and expect e lane 1 vehicle to slow down and compensate.

Seen those drivers b4 n well i believe they regretted driving like that having their left side mirror danggling after passing them... Wearing gloves with carbon knuckles protector do helps alot lolzzz...

Last time i think if really hit a car's side mirror and it was due to their poor driving, i would consider just leaving them in e dust. Thankfully, i never had a chance to do tat.

 

Now if lets say there is on board camera and we leave, is tat considered hit and run?

Its because they have this mentality that since they signalled others MUST give way and they will still turn without checking be it they from minor going to major road. Same with taxis that suddenly switch on hazard lights to exit from lane 1.

They have this mentality that only cars are allowed on lane 1. Ever seen a vehicle about to enter the expressway and suddenly stop even though the were no traffic hindering it and it was clear to enter the expressway? I did and wondered how the person even got a licence up till this day.

need to rant about a very unpleasant close call.

 

Was lane splitting on PIE toward bke from toh guan. At around 6.15pm, just after clementi exit, a spark/wave (not sure) cut into my "lane" at close to 40km/hr (my spd). Had to e brake and rear wheel slided. Thankfully managed to regain control. As a after thought, i hope e bike following close behind me also safe. E bike plate is fbb560** (not sure whether suitable to post).

 

I ve this msg for e spark/wave rider. We r all riders. Pls spare a thought for each other. Already some drivers r out to kill us, so pls dun increase e quantity of murderers on e road. Wat would u feel if u were in my position and someone cut ur "lane" causing u to skid when he himself manage to stay safe.

 

Pls just take an extra moment to look out for traffic. By cutting me in such a dangerous manner which cause danger to urself too (i might not ve reacted and manage to brake and went into u. 1000cc ram into u, not funny). I hope u r not patting urself on e back saving the 15 seconds u gain by putting both our lives at risk.

 

To all other riders (those who cut into lane split lanes without checking). Pls dun try to save 15 seconds and put urself and fellow riders at risk. Pls dun ve e mentality tat u signal = behind must give. Not saying tat i won't but u ve to be visible to me in e 1st place.

I always anticipate whenever I lane split.. always prepared for the worst when suddenly a vehicle decide to filter to the next lane when we approach near to them. Same goes to bikes, I always slow down if they are near the white broken lines in case they really intend to lane split.

 

Just treat everyone like a hazard on the road and always practice defensive riding. So far I have avoided a few potential collisions.

 

Psst~ Although I'm guilty of one incident when I didn't check properly and lane split, then colliding with another bike. Thankfully it was a very low speed collision, no damage no injury but a lesson learned.

I also try to be as alert as i can. In my case, i believe tat e bike was "invisible" to my view at tat moment in time. Suspect tat e bike cut in from between lane 3 and 2 into my lane and just so happens, e vehicle on lane 2 was a big one and blocked my view.

Riding instinct is a must... Riding without it n its gonna b a disaster... Btw after e recent Fellali massacre, i hope there's a valuable lesson learnt... Dun anticipate light gonna turn green or juz turn green only, we "shoot"...

Ya agree. Instinct is necessary. Think i also ve my own share of de javu cases but in this most recent case of mine, no such feeling came to me.

 

And now becoz of e ferrari, i also move off slower. but i keep telling myself, move off fast also save

I always look on the roads perpendicular to me, its a habit. Now probably more than ever, if a Ferrari were to langgar me, I want him to die, that won't happen with a bike.

I was taught by a Jap Courier co to practise this.

 

Light turn green: Check right, check left, check front ok. Then proceed to move off slowly.. But then ah before you can complete your check, you will kana horn liao.

 

So what I do is that to check right and left as I move off to ensure no idiots trying to beat right light as I proceed straight.
