I dun think they will dig up all the roads just to redo the system to catch the bikes.

 

All they need to do is up the petrol tax by 1 cent and they can collect tonnes of money.

Tried to go into Johor yesterday evening in vain.

 

Reached the Causeway at about 5.30PM, it was jammed with bikes all the way down to the bottom of the slope that leads to the Singapore immigration booths.

 

Divert and tried the 2nd Link.... it was jammed till before the LH bend that leads to the immigration booths. Cub kias engine at idling... the smoke worse than smoking one carton of cigarettes at one go. :faint:

 

Gave up on that idea too and U turned and headed to Clarke Quay for dinner and watched the fireworks. Awsome fireworks.

 

Gonna to try to enter Johor again this evening... gotta to go for my T-bone steak at Marbella's in Perling.

Dunno how good Marbella's is...

 

I had a 400gm medium-rare Tenderloin at HooHa Cafe (in Pasir Panjang Village) on Sat nite. One of the best I've ever eaten. No fat at all! Just one solid block of MEAT. No bone... no fat.... no crap...

 

I'm game to try the 500gm steak next time round.

Heard from my friend that nite that the Fish n Chips is pretty good. The Tiramisu dessert is good too....

 

But I think I'll stick with a half kilo worth of cow right down my stomach for now.

 

 

Right after the meal, we proceeded to town via up 99 turns... I tell you... the road coming downhill SUCKS big time... roadworks have torn the surface along the downhill roads nearer to the top (Science Park) area. The uphill road surface is still alright though....

Today while riding........nearly crush on to a bicycle.

The forient worker just ride happily at the right side of the road, had saw him from far and wish to overtake him at least a meter away(side by side), but he just Happily change lane!!

Lucky my left lane got no vehical, if not i got no choice but to crush him!!

no wonder lah..... so in conclusion it's all these parents sending kids to skool tat's creating all these traffic jam. i usually leave home at abt 7am. damn how come they r so lucky, during my sec skool days, where got extra day hols one? and oso parents shd just shuff their kids up the skool buses... like wat my parents did when i was younger....kids these days r so damn spoilt n i think they shd learn to be more independent.
