Well, it seems to hold up pretty well, at least on my side, up north.

Crucial thing is tomorrow as most of us would start working already.

Walau... shedevil21 was a victim of a track newbie Superfour who cut into her racing line on PG Turn 6 causing her to do an evasive swerve into the inside rain sodden grassy area which resulted in her crashing.

Today.... I became the victim of a track newbie Superfour who froze at the start of the turn and drifted out into my racing line on PG Turn 6 causing me to ebrake till I ran out of tarmac and into the rain sodden grass which resulted in me crashing although at a very slow speed.

Could have made it back to the tarmac but the soggy ground caused my front tyre to dig in and the rest is history.

Other than some minor mud and grass created cosmetic abrasions on the lower fairing, the bike was OK. Anyway that did not stop me from continuing with my sesson.

Looking at it in restropect, I take it as it was my fault. Because I was following him through the previous few corners I thought he was doing fine. How was I to know he would freeze at Turn 6 which is one of my favourite corners at PG.

Cheap lesson to learn anyway. Now I gotta to clean up my leather suit which looks more like a used rugby jersey. Wahahhahaah!!! :faint:

"How was your ride today?? Do you have praises for someone or did someone pissed you off?? Tell us about it. "

So that's what this thread is about. I didn't ride today, 'cos have no where to go, but I can also tell similar stories.......

For people making me cross

--------------------------------

On November 26, was on Changi Road, heading towards S'pore Expo for Boy Toyz exhibition and that day it was raining heavily. I was on the right had lane when suddenly, a car cut in front of me so that he (I think it was) could turn right!!

!@#$@%^&!!

You bet I was so hopping mad and the horn only gave a small beep sound, so I couldn't gave him a piece of my mind. Crap driver!! Just because I'm on a Phantom motorcycle doesn't mean I can be bullied. What if I had skidded? It would have been a lot worse.

For people making my day

--------------------------------

This was in Brisbane, Australia. I was at a Caltex petrol station waiting for my turn to pump up the tyres on my Suzuki Marauder and this gentleman let me use the pump 1st.

Initially I refused 'cos he was there 1st but I changed my mind when he said

" You got 2 wheels so you can go 1st"

I was very touched.

:cheer: to that bloke. So who said that Australians are racist?

You are okay, how about the devil??? She's fine too???

These few days no good leh....our SP150 tankslapped lowside, now you and the devil..... o_O

Once I get my passport back from the visa, I would love to go PG one more time before I head for Thai....unless my Det WO keep it and dun give us back. He damn kia see one......kan jiong spider. :nono:

Luckily my area school no school, still the same.....jams is only merging into SLE. Unless some inconsiderate drivers jump the line and cause accidents, then can jam up :sian:

devil's incident was in Sep.

It is coincidental that it was the same corner, under the same circumstances and the same kind of result.

Talk to the guy about ethics? Nah. Can't really say it is his fault, more likely my fault. I am the guy trying to overtake so it is my responsibility to watch out for him.

One of those risks that comes along with track riding.

this mornz as the entire world goes bk to work & skool, traffic was super congested even just leaving my carpark! hv not seen this kind of jam previously and guess it must be the skools at my plc. damn furious cos squeezing was difficult w buses, small & big lorries, car jutting into junctions making turning difficult as well. pek chek!

Same here. Because my house is very close to Nanyang Primary, there was a lot of cars parked along the road. The minute I got out from the cul-de-sac, I knew it would be a long ride to work. Thankfully, didn't have to battle through any oncoming traffic to get to Coronation Road.

Napier Road to Grange Road was a little jam due to road works at that junction. The sight of smoke was a tell-tale sign.

At Upper Pickering Street, as usual, was jam. It was around 8.30 am already. I know that 'cos I normally get in before 8.30 am so that I pay $1 instead of $1.25. At one of the main junctions there, I had to jam brake 'cos the car in front of me ( a black Mercedez), didn't want to take a chance to go. Also my fault that I failed to see that after the junction, the lane was full of cars.

If I had braked a bit later, probably end up kissing....Thankfully, the Merz moved across the yellow box to the other side of the junction.

How true. Been riding in total for year. Haven't lost my tooth or teeth from riding yet. I'm wearing a open face with a visor that I normally close when I'm riding. My dentist say I'll probably lose my teeth later in life 'cos I tend to grind them when I asleep, but that's beside the point.

From one close shave and another minor accident that I had when I was learning to ride in Australia, I learn to look to where ever I want to go. From those 2 incidents, which was definitely my fault, I learnt not to take my eyes off the road to where I want to go, even when checking there for traffic.

Never knew devil had an incident during Sep. :thumb: to the devil that's speedy recovery of track fears!!!

Well, the last time I was at the track once with around 18 over bikes, I was "kindly reminded" by some faster rider whom I shall not mention the name.

I guess you are pretty nice about it.....but I am surprised you did not let anger get over the head. Guess it must be the age and the financial freedom, ha ha ha.....

You mean you really did not say anything to him at all??? :cheeky:

"Hey, nice bike....brakes sure well. Be careful....you went into my line and you did not stop to help."

Joking. Cheers up dude!!!

Sep 05 was the first crash for shedevil21, and that was her 4th visit to the track.

After we cleaned up her bike and bent back her rear brake, she went out again with a half broken front brake lever.

Before she went out on track again, I told her that because her corner speeds have increased due to the good old "No brakes drill' she should progress to the next step, ie hanging out to keep the bike more upright through the corners.

I followed her out and the next thing she did was dragged her knee through Turn 3 and 5!! Abit shaky and hesitant initially but became more consistent as the laps went by. And that was her 4th track visit. I only managed to get my knee down the first time on the 7th track visit. :faint:

The 2nd crash she had was early Dec when she took part in the 5 lap race.

While trying to overtake an RS 125 from the OUTSIDE of Turn 5 she went onto the ripple strips and crashed.

Because the handlebar was bent, Ambasnakeman kindly volunteered to ride her bike back to the pits while she rode his 400. She came back to the pits all bubbly and happy she got to ride a 400cc bike!!

And you all think I am a hardcore track person. :faint:
