sorry guys but i really wanna know how can u possibly reduce freeplay on the fork. as far as i know all 2b 2stroke japanese bike is using telesopic fork which is not adjustable in anyway. if u want is to be most harder meaning u hit a bump and u dun want ur fork go down alot then just top up fork oil more. u u wan it softer just reduce the amount of fork oil. thats y when ur fork oil leak ur fork like soft soft cause low or no oil. my right fork had oil and the other water entered and so become soft. i got rid of the old one and topped up new fork oil. more than then normal cause i wanted it a bit hard and it works like a charm. putting in a spark plug is the same as adding more fork oil without jamming or hurting the spring inside. the spark plug occupies the same area as the added fork oil. if add more fork oil and still ur fork soft means the spring inside old ready then just change it if u can.

 

no offence to anyone but i see so many ppl confused then i just offer a full explanation for the safety of all us biker brothers and sistas.

recently i changed racing clutch spring. but upon changing i noticed some freeplay in my clutch hub. now after a week of usage it starts to produce some noise near the clutch area. could it be the hub needs to be changed?? if yes roughly how much?

Did u change all 4 springs?? Recommended only to change 2 only. not 4 pcs becos ur clutch cable going to snap faster. Try going to ur mechanic n get him to inspect on your clutch housing and bushing. Best to change the whole set including clutch plates.

Hei RXZ riders, anyone can tell me what's your total mileage that your full tank can go??? Mine can only go 180km then must top-up oil alrd, terrible uh, mech alrd decrease the fuel consumption at the jet but not much difference, recently piston jam and overhaul, couldnt remember what is my piston size, using 2nd hand y-4 block. Anyone facing similar issues??? Thanks in advance bros

 

wah jialat...usually paling terok standard rxz with so call power setting the least is about 270-300km..even with some modded pipe can go more than 200km

 

got many factors as to why ur fuel consumption jialat..must see block,carb,and pipe..any of these got porting or not..and know block what size..im sure one of these things got ported before..

 

rxz standard kaw kaw can go up to 400km or more one full tank

Got very high chance his jetting big cos block ported and pipe done up already. If 180km on full tank it might be main jet 280 pilot jet 2.75... Cos ive encountered it before when i was using that setting.

 

My advise get a 2nd hand standard block from scrap yard arnd $150. Then use only standard parts so that ur petrol dont consume alot.

 

Currently my set up:

-piston size 1.50

- carb

*panther needle, main jet 195, pilot jet 2.25

-spocket f16 r42

 

Millage full tank 390km. Riding speed around 90km/h to 120km/h

i think quite a number here knows..thing is..time is the problem..taking them out is easy..and within 30mins u can take out..but after that will be the tough part..n u needa at least extra new gasket ready..

 

hi bros, im wondering what does standard mod exactly mean? what are the changes made?

 

my personal definition of standard mod is any other mod without modifying engine block's fuel intake,carb,and internal exhaust to make the bike go faster.for example sprocket ratio..changing them from the original standard ratio is already a mod..but since the most important 3 things that i mentioned above is not modded..so its still standard..so its standard mod...hahaha..

 

not everybody will agree but hey its MY OWN personal definition.. ^_^

theres a small subnote or marking on the lower right corner of the speedo and odometer..but do take note whether the printing quality looks like a photocopy or really original..a photocopy one looks like faded black..this meter is local

Serious dont have?? Ur looking for black and white meter now hard to get unless u wait till 2014 for FW plate rxz to scrap then easy to find.
