ycls is the milli meter you referring to isit? the ones with smaller font than the caty meter

I mean the japan rxz squarish meter set....

the new catalyzer meter set is round with chrome lining & the trip meter is using a knob by the side of the speedometer to reset while the japan Z trip meter is by pressing to reset

Standard one. can fit heavy duty chain also.

hmmmmm..thanks many , but if i want it , i'll contact you again..thanks bro ! :)

so hope u can understand the ratio table ive made.see the difference between 15/45 and 16/45?by almost 0.2!0.05 is already a lot of difference..

yea...i know that divide the number can get the final drive ratio...because when i use 15/45, many people shock..but..the engine diff is only additional 500rpm...and kinda consume less fuel...but...i think i'll still change sooner or later....:)

lets take an example

6 speed -

6500rpm @ 100km/h Spocket 15/36

Ratio 2.4

Fomular:

(New Ratio - Pervious Ratio) = Answer 1

2.53 - 2.4 = 0.13

Answer 1 Divide by Perviouos Ratio = Answer 2

0.13/2.4 = 0.0541666

Answer 2 Multiply by 100.

0.0541666 * 100 = 5.416666% = 5.42%

Spocket 15/38

ratio 2.53 +5.416%

There is a +5.416% in ratio, Therefore take 6500 @ 100km/h on 15/36 increase 5.416% on the RPM

Answer is 6852.04 Rpm

My conclusion if i use 15/38 my RPM will be roughly 6850.

If decrease will be - the percent

depending on which type of style you love to ride and how you wish to match your spocket size.

Hope this will really help.

25.6957%

He will be going @ 5.2k RPm @ 100km.h LOL

I think i calculate correct

wow . hahaa mine 15/36 already 6.5k RPM. maybe my plates are already wore off from the start.

For the formula use your own RPM as a gauge.

............... What the hell are you guys talking abt???????????????

aiyoo topic become like a math formulae club already...

dont think so much. jus think of what u want out of your ride then change the sprox accordingly.. 15 more for pickup, 16 mid range and lastly 17 for distance...

FYI @ syam i was using 17f 39r for our malacca ride.. endless bro.. engine was singing just right.. hahaha better mileage too.. managed a 386km in line with the letter E on the fuel gauge.. ;)

guys the reason i put up the ratio was because for those who always wonder what to use..u can refer to that..this was an idea given by my fren when he was deciding what size to use..if anyone is into engineering can follow xavier's calculation..

i think i encounter this sprocket issue over in this forum many times sia..can someone open up a new topic??hahahaha

and xavier are u joining us to kedah?

anybody else up for it??

very very low chance of joining u guys bro. Yea i keep on hearing gear ratio issue also. for me its really about the feel and riding type you like & distance you travel. There's not such thing as perfect sprocket ratio where you can really balance out both.

If so called balance out sprocket is like having top speed and acceleration that you can be never satisfied .
