tak faham ar ape kau bebual? kau receive sms ade perang. abis member kene sebat. ape siak? mane betul? jgn radio karat sua. aku pun receive tu msg. nak percaya macam tak percaya pun ade. tapi kalau kau cakap member kau kena sebat pat mane? kalau betul kena sebat provide info la pat mane? location time etc. ngan sape. jgn cakap pat singapore? nanti aku sebat kau baru tau. hahahhahhaa jgn macam skit ari receive msg ade operation pat sana. last pegi takde pape pun.

Guys, is there any water-resistant spark plug available??

 

Bcuz earlier this morning while travelling at the expressway in the heavy rain my bike suddenly stopped ...which I believe was due to the spark plug getting wet.

 

Any possible ways I can solve this issue?? Quite danger sak, motor stop like tat, behind if got vehicle tailgating, jialatz man..

i dun tnik there is bro...water resistant means tat the contacts are covered up to prevent water from going in. if its covered up, how to produce spark to ignite the fuel? anyone else can add?

So far nvr heard of dis kind of products. Maybe wat he meant is, there are some kind of seal around the housing where u fix ur plug to prevent water from seeping tru. There might be a case where u didnt really tighten ur plug dats da reason y water seep inside but if dats da case ur bike might not run properly. Likewise if there's a sealant, the height between ur plug n da piston is not rite n it will affect da firing power. Juz my opinion, maybe others might wanna add.

Eno : Welcome to the club man. Rxz is a simple bike, given time and enthusiasm u can DIY stuff to ur bike. However if ur nt sure, dn itchy finger go and tweak around. Think the guys here can help u out.

 

Mdhsn : If its possible, bring back to the shop u bought it from and xplain wats wrong. If they dun entertain u ( there's a high possibility ), get someone experienced to check out ur bike, and give advice.

I like the guys from R@ce werkz to handle my bike. To me its gd workmanship and service. That time I ask, chnge piston if nt wrong around $100 plus and full service about $ 75. Price may be incorrect and I'm not promoting, juz sharing wat I got to know.

bro, i was quoted 130$ for changing of piston, carb washing and top end servicing. for brake caliper, im not to sure. maybe ur caliper is touching the disc brake rotor due to the disc brake rotor off allignment or senget. not too sure though

Helo guys, rifst of all i wld like to congrats u both n also wellcome to the family of d RXZ's.

 

mdhsn - looks like ur brake disc might be out of alignment, maybe u can go back to d bike shop where u purchase it n have it chk. As for ur piston n full service it shldn't cost u more than $200. Not sure bout d caliper, they nid to chk it out.

 

Eno - since u r staying in tampines, y dont u drop by when we have a mit-up. Maybe u cld learn something from there.

Maybe u can try to adjust a bit da screw at d ctr of da horn, sumtimes it might be due to d connection or maybe low bat.

hmmm..... while riding suddenly it stops.... I dun tink ur spark plug is wet becos of the rain water.

 

1) if spark plug is wet, normally when people refer it is wet becos of rich air/fuel mixture not becos of wter.

2) if really got water to enter the sparkplug hole, i tink the best thing u can do is change ur top block (head).

3) 1 thing i can tink of while riding ur bike suddenly stops, possibilities u encounter piston seizure in which the bike never jam like piston jam but it just stops like u off ur engine.

 

many possibilities. so i dunno whether which one u encounter la.

The shop that time just change the brake pad. they dont entertaint P plater. They like chin cai like that.

 

that time i go jb AHM motor shop change clucth bush for RM155. Change to new ori bush. it is reasonable price?

 

go there bring $100 can do wat?

Happen to me just now. Heavy rain so I park somewhere. Den I went to Harbourfront. Then about 6-7 hrs I come back, start the bike. It was okay but I notice the bike like wanna die. Skali at traffic light enjine off. Ignition on got no light ah. But my friend told me just put to on then kick 3-4 times. I do then ok ah. Maybe its meant to be like that?
