guys, im new here.. got a question.. im planning to play accesories on my rxz.. does anyone knows which shop in singapore that can chromed up my bike? johor is cheaper but the thing is that i cant go in johor.. replies are truly appreciated..

good afternoon ppl.... any of you guys have any experience about hyper bike werkz which is located LAB. i travel along jalan besar very often ad seen that shop doing many kups and rxz.

Today went there for a quotation about my fairing. The mech told me $150. sounds resonable... what you guys think..... thanks...

Happen to me just now. Heavy rain so I park somewhere. Den I went to Harbourfront. Then about 6-7 hrs I come back, start the bike. It was okay but I notice the bike like wanna die. Skali at traffic light enjine off. Ignition on got no light ah. But my friend told me just put to on then kick 3-4 times. I do then ok ah. Maybe its meant to be like that?

 

its not meant to be like tat. urs is diff case already. sounds like either ur idling is low, or got to do with ur setting.

wat fairing u wanna change? head fairing with light 30+. tail ard 30. with light maybe add another 20. 30+30+20= 80 so all in all ard 80+ to 100. All item can buy at lab. if u got bargaining skills more better la. so 150 u tink reasonable? u decide.

 

The shop to me quite ex. i oso dun understand y many bikes go there. maybe their regulars. i ask them before whether their shop same with hyperbike at jb, they said can say yes but diff boss.

eh is the standard tire Dunlop T900 for rxz good? good as in does it have traction? I not confident to even tilt a bit of my bike during rainy days. Is it a good/reasonable tire for traction?

yup u're rit3. satu bdk terkencit, yg lain tak terbabit pun terkene taiknye.

so yesterday i went in to jb ard 2pm.head to danga bay, angsana n lastly bandar area

so far ok.no need to worried la juz be careful if u're alone.

dun get wat u mean standard tt900. depends wat rim u using. if 18 inch rim, u want good tyes u get TT100GP made in japan. if u use 17 inch rim u can use battlax bt39ss. dun get the made in thailand ones.

bro, actually can diy urself. quite easy. but if buy at lab, u bargain first then later if he accept the price u bargain, tell him include fixing. hahahahah. lab oso can help u fix. just ask them first. or if u dun want then u buy first then go down to the gathering they always do at tampines. then can slowly do la. where u stay?

another thing is if u use the catalyzer head cowling n want to buy new one can 1 to 1 swap. but if u use the old head fairing then u need to buy the bracket for the new head cowling. cos old n new head use diff bracket.

bro, i suggest to u not to fix at LAB. Ur gonna hav to wait forever for them to fix it up for u. bettter if u bargain alot then fix it urself. or worst come to worst, spend the extra money u save ask some motordiam to do it for u to save time.

No no..i mean can u comment on using the TT900 tire? When I bought the bike 2 months ago, i got the tire. Still brand new tire.

i used TT900 b4 (80/80) but made in Thai ones. gud at cornering coz got reasonably curved profile. Its not tat slippery when raining, let me highlight not tat slippery. i think thai cant last compared to japs ones. others using it wanna add.

hmmm..... while riding suddenly it stops.... I dun tink ur spark plug is wet becos of the rain water.

 

1) if spark plug is wet, normally when people refer it is wet becos of rich air/fuel mixture not becos of wter.

2) if really got water to enter the sparkplug hole, i tink the best thing u can do is change ur top block (head).

3) 1 thing i can tink of while riding ur bike suddenly stops, possibilities u encounter piston seizure in which the bike never jam like piston jam but it just stops like u off ur engine.

 

many possibilities. so i dunno whether which one u encounter la.

Congrats on getting ur bike n welcome to d RXZ's family. As for accessories u can get lots from LAB at a reasonable price. As for chroming, u can sent it to Kallang Ind area or Ang Mo Kio, but i dont really have their address only know how to get there, maybe sumone from here can gv u.........
