If I were u, I'd adjust the travel on my gantung to make it a bit higher. U know, just to give it some space to play around. And I would lose those 'POSH' adaptor cause they jack up ur bike rear too much.

/QUOTE]

Wah... Thanks for the prompt reply bro...

Really appreciate it....

You mentions that to "adjust the travel on my gantung to make it a bit higher"

....

Aahh... :cheeky:

How do you go about doing that???o_O

Post it up bro....

U really know about the z..... Whow....

You must have been doing loads of homework..... hahaha

Thanks syamitomo.....

Hey no prob bro, glad I could help. Just sharing things tat I pick up and learn during those active cycling days. U should hav check out my cycling mags, lots of useful tips tat we can apply to our bikes!

Anyway, its pretty simple to adjust ur shock travel. See the screws on the shock? (See budget attachment)450%20Rear%20Shock%204[1].jpg

All u hav to do is simply to loosen the top ring and adjust it to ur height liking. Then its just a matter of turning/screwing the whole spring assembly to follow up! Finally just tighten the top ring to the spring assembly before riding off! Make sure that it is tight so as not to damage the tread of ur shock should u wan to adjust it again in the future and also hav a squecking shock!! Hee....

Take care...

So far, the only difference between the two rims is;

The Sports rim is MUCH MORE SOLID then the spokes....

Also for the weight could feel only a slight lighter...

But don't take my words for it (different ppl different feelings)

Hehehe.... Slowly re-doing the z.... Hopefully will be done by RAYE.... hahaha :cheer: :cheer::cheer: :cheer:

Wow! Looks kinda cool when ur bike is lower to the ground. Performance wise, I'm not sure bout it although I heard from lots of those riders tat lower will be stable when doin cornering. But the disadvantages is tat since ur bike rear wheel is nearer to ur wheelbase, chances are tat hitting big humps might make ur wheel bounce onto ur underneath(?) and ur pipe hitting the road should there be any bumps. If I were u, I'd adjust the travel on my gantung to make it a bit higher. U know, just to give it some space to play around. And I would lose those 'POSH' adaptor cause they jack up ur bike rear too much. I already try it. The bike looks weird, the rear seems very flimsy when cornering and my pillion will always slide down on me when I do even the slightest braking!

Well tat's my thinkin. Don't know bout others though...

And u also gotta balance out the height of ur fork and the rear. Tis is wat I learn during my active cycling days last time which I think can also apply to our bikes as well! Having a too high front and very lower rear can cause u to over steer. Yes it may sometimes be very nice to maneuver the bike around since the steering action will be very light but it also hav the tendency of wheelie-ing should u hav to rev more on an uphill.

On the other hand, having a very lower front and a jack up rear will cause u too understeer, heavy steering action but very the stable at drags. It will also make u feel every nooks and crannies on the road and the rear might even catapult u to the front since the gantung will be very active due to all the weight of the bike being shifted in front.

Well I'm just sharing some points which I think might be useful for fellow RZXers. Ultimately its up to the individual on how they wan their ride to be, performance, safety or looks. I know which one I hav to go with. Read more of the RXZ lovers forum and u will learn more from these helpful people here...

Well done bro, wat u mention are mostly correct, did u get all dis facts frm da mags or is it from ur own experience???

Yeah!!! I did a constant 180 or I think more yesterday morning on the PIE!!! After tat the bike go smokey @ a traffic light stop...Hehe... But all in all, the bike seems fine.....

Juz a reminder bro, RXZ are air-cooled, do be very carefull when doing dat constantly over a certain period of time, cos it might damaged ur piston & d piston blk. On top of dat it might oso endanger ur life if ur piston where to fail or ur chain were to snap, as a results u might skid & might not be able to control ur bike & u might juz be flung off ur ride.

And yeah I'd love to be in any gathering. Well done bro, its gd dat atleast u acknowledge my advice, seen to many accidents on da road by lots of youngsters & new riders who tink dat they are skilled enuf when they can't actually handle or control or even knew their bike characteristics so well.

Its really such a waste when u crash, some died on da spot & some were crippled for life, I'm sure most of u here wouldn't want dat to happen rite.

Anyway, it doesn't matter whether u r new or a veteran rider. We can all learn sumting from each other.........:thumb:

guys. ive got a prob.

my bike used to have very fast pick ups and bursts of speeds.

but now, just moving off from first gear is so freaking slow,

sometimes i think its not moving at all and i have to always push the bike with my feet just

to make it move faster before the car behind me starts honking at the traffic light.

and plus it has very high revving at very low speed.(e.g. moving off)

and lastly, my biting point is like 3/4. tried fixing the adjustable screw

but it didnt work. will changing levers and clutch cable work?

a mech once said its something to do with the engine and has to be fixed from the inside. is it true?

need help from pro bros here :)

RXZ uses 6 pieces of tis clutch plates. I was charged 10buck a piece, so $60 total, inclusive of service. Prob abt clutch plates is, u don't actually hav to take care of it. It's just another wear & tear parts of the Z. But it'll surely go a long way tats for sure... Anybody elses to add?
