wanna check with u guys, hav anyone used the cbr150 tailight b4?...where do u guys got it fixed? any recomendations on shops tat do good acceries fittings in sg?...

my mech dun do acceries fittings as he doesnt "believe" in them. hes only gud at the engine parts and repairs...ur replies much appreciated

how much to change clutch plate? and how to take care of them to ensure

tht this wouldnt happen again.

 

RXZ uses 6 pieces of tis clutch plates. I was charged 10buck a piece, so $60 total, inclusive of service. Prob abt clutch plates is, u don't actually hav to take care of it. It's just another wear & tear parts of the Z. But it'll surely go a long way tats for sure... Anybody elses to add?

motorkel & syamitomo - True, its juz another consumable item. U can prolnged its life span as long u dont drag ur bike or frequently use half-clutch or like wat d other bikers always did - Burn Rubber. Not only it wear outs ur clutch plate but it will also damaged ur clutch housing & other parts of ur engine..........

I'm letting go my boost bottle for $40(neg)...

Specially for Z cose it was perviously on a z... (could fit on other bikes 200cc & Below but modification is needed)

 

Its just plug and play.....

As for the installation; either i could do it or i could guide u on how to do it....

As easy as that....

 

Purchased the product at Tai Hin Enterprise co. (28Aug07) wif proof...

Reason of selling is; in need of cash for my new project....

I usually go service at the place near my hse. yishun Ind Park 2. Soon Hin the shop name. i dun see why hav to go far2 to do servicing. 10min walk from hme onli...haha. the shop is ok, and dun chop ppl like carrot IF u know ur stuff.

my rxz battery seems to be dying. the signal and the light is not bright, only when i throttle then it will be brighter. how long can this last? am working and cannot bring to servicing. i ride for 6 months plus now, never do anything to the battery. by the way, can i add deionised water to the battery, will it help?

U shld top up n check ur battery water often. If after topping up its still weak u may try to charge da battery b4 replacing it........

Errr... Wat's a boost bottle anyway? Does it work like those turbo charger found in Evos & Imprezas? Would like to know more bout tis aftermarket stuff...

For a normal batt, u shld chk da batt water regularly & top it up if its low. U can jus open up da lid on top of da batt fill it up. But, for a maintenance free type, there's no nid for u to do so cos it'll last longer so juz expect to pay more. There's no possible damage bro, juz replace it. Another component which might cause ur batt to fail is d rectifier which acts as a charger for ur batt, even ur magneto coil oso plays a part in da whole electrical system of our bike.........

No it doesn't. Wat i understand it juz provide more air to d carb. But its not juz plug & play, cos after fixing it up u nid to re-set ur carb so dat d air & fuel ratio doesn't differ. I might be wrong cos i didn't use it, y don't u click to d product link & get more info bout it........

Can I put HID lights for my headlight on my RXZ? If yes, where can I get one and what are the specs? Is it legal for RXZ?

 

Have you ever been bothered by the lights of selfish drivers who use HID and does not know how to dip the lights? Its irritating especially when you look into the mirrors. I thought LTA has regulations that say HID lights must be dipped by the mechanics before it can be used on the roads?

 

Whats ur take on these?

bro, the LED ur talking abt is the LED bulb rite. its totally legal, better still, its much brighter and makes u more visable to those blind drivers even during the day. As for HID lights, its not legal as normal bright white light bulb for bikes are oso not.

i totally agree with u abt the reflections u get on ur mirror when a car with HID is behind. very2 irritating esp when stationary at stop lights. what i suggest, u wack2 ur trottle to make smoke screen to block some of the light if their behind u...hahaha.

it is true, using fully synthetic 4t oil for gearbox (0w-50), can cause the clutch plate to slipped?

Ermmm... tis airbox ur talkin abt, it is situated on the right side of the Z rite? How come mine don't hav ah? It's just an empty space inside, tat makes me wonder why would the Jap leave an empty space in there?
