I'm really sorry that you are unable to meet Abg Boy. Maybe next time when I'm going there you might wanna tag along with me, so you can recognize him and he can acknowledge you as a friend of mine.

He was once a racer(a legal one), so he knows a lot of stuff about bikes.

Thank you for taking your time to make a trip to Kallang. I'm really sorry man.

2ndly:

how much do i need to pay to change my sprocket?

wat is the standard size of both f n b?

if i wanna go for distance wat size wld it be?

3rdly:

how much can i get for a set of 17" rims?

how much shld i fork out to get gd tyres?

dat r all the questions i need to know as for now..

hope some ppl can get me out of the dark..

wanna make neccessary changes b4 raye ar..

Firstly, welcome to the RXZ family, here lots of ppl can help u if u need advice. maybe u can even help me in some of my probs soon too. :thumb: the prices i give are all in Sing bro, shud ask others here if u want a quote in Ringgit.

For ur qn, the standard handle clip cost 18$ per pair at automachinery. its local ones. if u want the original from JAP, u fave to fork out 45$ per PIECE :giddy:

2ndly:

how much do i need to pay to change my sprocket?

wat is the standard size of both f n b?

if i wanna go for distance wat size wld it be?

They would normally charge 40-50$. it depends on what chain ur using too. ive changed mine with DID chains coz me 45$.

As for std size sprocket, it would be 16front/42back

the bigger the back sprocket is, the better the pickup but will strain the engin at high speed

3rdly:

how much can i get for a set of 17" rims?

how much shld i fork out to get gd tyres?

it depends on what rims ur looking for too bro. u might want to elaborate on tat more so tat the bros here can help enlighten u even more

as for tyre, a good set would cost u abt 150$. Battlex 80/80 front and 90/80 back.

dat r all the questions i need to know as for now..

however if i'm short of cash den getting local ones r not much of a choice ahah

i'm planning to change my sprocket to a small one.. mayb 36.. is there size 36?

wat's the smallest possible sprocket size rxz can get?

will there be any difference in the bike speed if i use different types of 2t?

any gd 2t to recommend?

Getting original ones can be better if you are thinking of keeping your bike for a long time, but if you are using it for a short time, i don't think its worth your money. Local ones are cheaper and I must say standard is about the same.

But then again, its your money.

QNS2, I can't answer, let others answer you.

For me, 2T is burnt with fuel. So no point paying for more for 1 litre. I did use Shell Advance 2SX to VSX to currently Castrol Power Racing 1. And I must say that, there's no difference in performance. The only difference it does is the price. I'm sticking to Castrol, at $7.50/litre.

There's TOTAL at Carrefour for $5.00/litre.

I can only provide guidance, you decide what's best.

Thank you.

To Dinzmetal: I'm going to make a trip to Abg Boy either after Raya or next month. Will PM you if going. Thanks!

Yupz, been there b4 few yrs back. And its true bout going there during d wkdays cos its usually crowded during d wkend. Its really great but be prepared to pay for it guys, especially if u were to crash.

Obviously u do not have to remove lots of parts frm ur bike. Wats more important is to bring more masking tape to tape or cover most parts of ur bike. Leather jackets, jeans, gloves and riding boots are a must. Wld be better if u cn get a racing suit....:thumb:

Yupz, i agree wif u regarding da 2T tingy, its juz a consumable which doesn't last & it does not make ur bike to run faster or smoother either. I'm selling SPC Alpha 2T for only $6, nice fragrance & low smoke too. U might wanna try it. Few of them here have tried it out, u may ask them for any reference.......:thumb:

Wat does CDI even means? Civil Defence Institute? Haha... Abt the 'tong2' thingy, I think it's a term for bigger everythin but without improving any performance. Example from wat I heard from most ppl is Aprillia 125 as a 'tong' bike, looks bike from outside but still 125cc...
