hey bros... what do CDI do for our bike? does it increase performance? and most importantly do rxz have/need cdi? since my Z does not even have air filter who knows it might not need it... haha... and also what does "tong" bike stomach /pipe means? saw this "new terms" at other threads... thanks... :thumb:

Wat does CDI even means? Civil Defence Institute? Haha... Abt the 'tong2' thingy, I think it's a term for bigger everythin but without improving any performance. Example from wat I heard from most ppl is Aprillia 125 as a 'tong' bike, looks bike from outside but still 125cc...

CDI = Capacitor discharge ignition

Read abt it on this link bro!

hahaha.....

U got the correct place, but sadly it was the shop next to it.... (on the left)

I went to the shop u went to.....

EVEN THE chinese (malaysian) mech recommend me to do anything to my bike there....

If nt wrong abg boy shop is quite small...

Nv did anything there b4..

But aft all the comments maybe i would...

Wakakaka...

Funny sey.....:faint: :faint:

And maybe the malay abg was the famous abg boy.......o_O o_O o_O

Jeng-jeng Jeng......

I think you've got the right Abg Boy. His shop has got no sign board and pretty plain. Red tool chest on the left when you enter the shop. And right at the end of the shop on the right is a table and a cup board. If this description fits, we've got the same Abg Boy.

WAH.....:lovestruck: :lovestruck:

I have always been interested in RACING (Legally ah) .....

But sadly i only have one bike so to bring it to the track is really sayang, especially if (worst case) wipe out on the track....

Reading ur post already made my hair stand (In a good way if there such thing)

Really wanna feel the true bond between man and machine.

Therefore legal racing is my option but still kinda restricted....

HAIZ:sian: :sian: :sian:

Nevertheless i support this LEGAL Racing.....

Up UP uP for ur event bro.....

If you are new to the track, I really suggest you take a lap or 2 for familiarisation. Even pro racers don't race on the first day. They take at least 3 days to familiarize and even a practice before racing.

This racing event(hopefully if there are interested people), is just a get to know session and racing legally of course. But not to the extend of getting injured or bike in pieces. Its a friendly event. We all love and need our bikes for transport, so race safely.

When I get more information, I will post it here. In the mean time, for those interested can put your name here.

Note: This event is not confirmed yet. More information still needed. If there's anyone who can help or know more about hiring the track, please share with me.

Hi bros

OK... There's 3 solutions to your problem.

Solution 1: X=Y/Z(AB-CB)

Technique of dropping gear. Try not to drop all the way to gear 1 while clutching in all the way. Let go of the clutch 1 or 2 gears down, then clutch in to drop again.

Solution 2: X=AB(CB-AC)/Y

Its time to change your gear pedal.

Solution 3: X=SUM(X+Y)*2/Y

Have you changed your engine oil recently? If yes, try to use a better quality one. If no, then change now.

Hope its helpful and welcome to the family.

hey guys..

i'm a new rider here and needs a whole lot of knowledge on this bike..

hope i'm welcomed to the 'Z' family hehe.. :cheeky:

i'll begin with some questions..

1stly:

how much can i get for a standard rxz handle(the new model)?

i'm currently using the apek kinda handle..

and it bothers me coz i can't lower the fork

Firstly, welcome to the club! Feel free to ask from any of these helpful guys here...

Abt ur 1st ques, is ur Z the Jap model? They usually comes default with those 'apek' type of handlebars. I think it bothers u tat u cannot lower the front part of the bike because the handlebar block the fork should u wanna lower it somemore rite? Well tat could be a disadvantage.

But.... Hav u guys ever thought tat those kind of handlebars helps to keep vibrations from ur bike and the road at bay. U will especially feel ur hand and wrist aching when travelling long distance. Reason is, by using those clamp on handlebars, u are basically securing the handlebar at the fork. By doing these, vibration tat the bike is emitting and the road buzzing will travel through the fork and then directly to the handlebar and finally to ur fragile hands...

So think abt it, by having layers of clamp, it acts out as an absorber and will diminished the vibrations before reaching ur hand. Those wif those 'Apek2' handlebar should know how it is being secured. (I wish I hav a pics to show u guys.:( )

So if u decided to stick wif the standard 'apek' handlebar and wish to further improve the performance, try changing the standard steel handlebar to those alloy handlebar. Better yet, carbon fiber handlebar if there is any shops tat make custom handlebar. Cause u see, low graded steel will actually intensify the vibration, making it more stinging to ur hand. By changing to the above mentioned handlebars, these material will absorb more vibrations depending on the grades. I already tried changing to my D/H carbon fiber handlebar. It works well actually, my hand not aching after a long running in session at all the expressway. Although my clamp needs to be modified to accomodate the sensitive bicycle carbon bar. Hee...

But if u decided to change, try to get better quality base plate and handlebar for ur Z. Try not to hav those China made ones. Then try to possibly lower the fork as much as possible but still be able to absorb bump without rebounding back to ur head fairing. This is let the bike weight shifted to the front so as to have a pin down action on the fork. This will also help absorbs some of the vibrations....

Well ultimately it is up to u to decide wat u wan for ur bike. So yeah... Happy experimenting with ur bike!!!

Hi bros

nid ur advice. sumtime when i was braking out of emergency becos a stupid car dun move fast enuff, i find veri difficult to go to gear one. aniway to resolve this problem?

Or u can try adjusting ur gear pedals to other positions. U just simply loosen the small bolt, remove the front part of the gear pedal, don't care abt the pin securing the back, and then fixing it back to ur liking position. Then make sure u secured the bolt back hand tight. U don't wan to hav it loose and in the end making the gear pedal eating up the teeth of the gear shifter!

I already experiement tis for quite a while and hey it works! Just make sure u go for a few test runs before hitting the road!

Kids.... Don't try tis at home... Heh heh....

No prob bro. Yeah and wat do I win in the end? Nothin. So yeah no point testing in S'pore roads. I'm just doin it out of curiosity and I make sure I check my 'blind spot' before doing tis mindless feats. But I've stop speeding already and became a good boy nowadays... Hee...
