Attire : top must b brightly coloured (no black),jeans (no bermudas),shoes (no sandals/slippers)

P/S: 4 safety reasons due to late nite riding.

Bring : cash (4 dinner/snacks, petrol) n raincoats

 

2015hrs to 2030hrs - reach n meet at beach road for dinner.

2135hrs to 2145hrs - minor check of bikes,refuelling of petrol/2t @ nearest kiosk. (nearest will b caltex) n ere will b sm discussion.

2150hrs to 2220hrs - proceed to labrador park.(chill n chit chat session)

2315hrs to late night(nt exceeding 2am) - nite riding to various parts of s'pore.

geng i wanna noe where to get cheap2 slim2 box + rack+baseplate all uh?nid a box now to keep my rainy gears...i remember pendek told me 80bux can get complete set from LAB bt which LAB uh?singpore or jb LAB?

 

tank...i wanna noe how to make my tank fuel cover like tzm or tzr.those flat cover lah.coz my tank problematic sia..even petrol not full to d brim it spurts out when i press my front brakes.when petrol is full even worst,park side or main stand petrol flow like waterfall sia.wasted sia... i tried placing gasket,sillicone n even poxying it still no help so somebody pls enlighten me...

i also wanna ask these skali u ask already first.

Guess they would have planned everything out...

ah my sister's hubby also riding rxz. So far no complain abt money. both come from low income family. maintainance is cheap but when u use rxz for racing or wanna mod for the passion of it, dats when them money starts flowing out.

My hub's *sigh* RXZ has caused lotz of probz lately.. stopping in the mid of the rd 4 no apparent reasons, dis breakdown, dat breakdown, everyting oso breakdown.. the funny ting is, he religiously sent his RXZ 4 maintenance every 3mths w/o fail, yet cn cause probs.. Im more worried bout his safety(eg. stopping in the mid rd) but he doesnt seem to heed my words.. i gez the main thread of ,"YAMAHA RXZ LOVERS" riders realli mean it ar. btw, my hub dun use his ride 4 racing but still cn cause soo much probz meh?? n yah, he juz LURVES modifying his rides...

To start off, I would say that RXZ is user friendly in terms of costs and problems. Usually, bikes don't give problems frequently. It is when modifications are made either for visual attractiveness or riding complements, that is when problems start to appear. Especially when the mods are different from the original. Small mods might escalate into other problems.

 

Besides the above mentioned problems, wear and tear also has to be taken into consideration. Maintenance plays a part in this process. Normal maintenance costs (not in ascending order): Engine Oil, 2-Stroke Oil, Spark Plugs, Chains and Sprockets ie and others.

 

As an advise, small problems if not immediately rectified, will escalate into bigger problems. This is when repairs need to be extensively done and adds to the cost.

 

In summary, RXZ is a hassle free bike. With proper maintenance, I'm sure the cost to keep the bike is low compared to others.

 

To answer your last question, yes I do have commitments and married.

my hub lurves like i say to modify his bike, so i tink the probz lies ere.. the other ting is, i tink it act escalate by the fact dat it is a 2nd hand bike.. his bike is a posed 4 probz frm the dae he gt dat bike.. den he used to send hs bike 4 servicing in jb but the well bein of his bike nvr actually done.. wit other probz facing nxt in other parts of the bike.. once, he decided to send his bike here in s'pore 4 servicing wich den he finally sees the true picture of the faults in his bike.. i tink he was cheated bck in JB.. cheap as it is bt nt alwaez reliable..

As for the RXZ, I can honestly tell u tat men would luv to get their hands dirty and try out new means of making their bike GO!!!! Which is why RXZ fits the bill, it is a low maintainence, cheap and lots of stuff to mod!!!!! Hehehe...

This time around, there's no more problems with my bike and the money I spent goes for the maintenance of the bike.

 

On average, about $50/month is for my bike's maintenance or repairs.
