i didnt know the theory behind it. anyway, just changed mine. semi synth. feels better. runs more smoother at 100. or is it just psychological? haha. :)

how come can get lost. :faint:

 

hey guys, how to install balancers? just bought a pair, it consist of the balancer, a short steel bar, a rubber, and a nut. i dono how to put it in. a fren of mine bought the same one, he removed the rubber and nut, and screw it in. while mine cannot screw anything.

 

eh guys, can help? i think i need to knock it in with a mallet or something, cos i cant screw it in. :(

Hello :)

 

Just wanted to show my "new" Bulldozer - a lot of work has gone into this bike last Saturday. I had bought a second RXZ in order to get a new rear frame as mine was completely bent, after i got that one it turned out that there were quite a few racing parts in it - some of which went into my daily driver now.

 

So here he is - RXZ "Extreme", 150cc block (bored up Y-2, also ported, with modified TZR piston), whole rear reinforced with 3mm plate steel, old "Japan type" tail piece and tail light, brand new Michelin 3.00/18 tyre, new specially made brake pads and new, working, locks for seat and left side panel.

 

No idea how fast it is now as the brake still isn't properly bled (still got some air in it) but in 6th gear @9.500 rpm and 140 km/h (via digital speedo) it still pulls very strongly.

 

Still got a complete spare engine now with stock RXZ block and piston, but racing crank shaft, lightened flywheel, racing clutch, racing bearings all around, custom primary gears (for very high pickup power) and less than 5.000 kilometers on it.......

 

Oh, i bought that whole "spare RXZ" for just 2.000 Baht, it had no papers..... and found out that it included racing parts worth more than 40.000 Baht, including a genuine "Showa" fork :)

Hi :)

 

I am sure that Yamaha's mechanics are proud when someone like me keeps "that old junk" moving day by day....... those words were quoted from a Yamaha sales person who absolutely wanted to sell me one of these automatic, plastic, toy bikes when i came there to ask for RXZ parts. "Nobody drives such old junk anymore, are you interested in a Nouvo?" where his exact words.

 

Mine Bulldozer eats Nouvos for breakfast and Finos for desert, and it has so far 72.000 plus an unknown number of kilometers done and still going stronger than any of those automatic toys.

 

I truly love my reliable RXZ and will not replace it for any other bike - with the exception being a brand new RXZ which, since not available in Thailand, will not happen anyway :)
