Just wanna check with all RXZ riders here. My bike is a stock bike which is 8 years old now.

1) My bike used 8 litres of petrol and travel at average of 240km. Is this good fc or bad?

 

i advise you to get the carbs service and change the main jettings and neddle to a standard one if you need a better mileage and value for money to your petrol.

 

2) My exhaust pipe made very loud noises and seem that the pipe is hollow. How can I minimise the noises?

 

Adding more the yellow/white carbon fiber can help to reduce the DB of the exhausts. Bare in mind do clean the old ones before installing the newer ones. The more fiber is the quieter the emission is.

 

3) Whenever I press on my rear brake, it will create a loud screeching sound when I started to move off from cold engine. When travelling after some distance, the sound will disappear. What is the problem for this?

 

Hehehe this is due to the rear brake pads (drum ones) there is 2 possibilities; 1: The horse shoe brake pads has worn off (like wat DF would say HAUS) 2: Due to partly the reason at 1: when the wheels hubs has warm up and it causes heat(due to the rotations of the wheels) thus when you starts to brake it will firstly makes a screeching sound then eventually dies out... so my bet is do replace it if it has no been so. If it has been replaced then i guess get the drum check. On normal standards, i believed we all dont really cared about the screeching sound if it dies out eventually....

 

4) Does anyone sprayed paint on the exhaust pipe and block and how much it cost?

 

Bro this one you can DIY bro, cheaper, 20SGD settle.. Get the

HI-Temperatures' black/ silver colored sprayed cannister. You can get it either at your local hardware shop or the 'HOMEFIX' You would not want to spend more than 20++ just to spray your block and exhausts. For instruction on how to do it, will tell you later lah....

I was using low profile tires with my Z front 17 rear 18..... POWER...... hehehehe i still got the rims for sale if you want.... MITO X brand, spokes with tires on and still can use for another 8 months or so..... hmmm correct bros?? nice rims rite mine.. (looking at DF)

I do with anything as long there's a sponsor....

yessah bro i strongly agree with u.. :bounce: the japs made it to run on 18 for a reason.. standard is always better, like my bike all stock, no probs only to normal wear and tear.. hehehe :lol:

yeap, got reason, since its a commuter bike, they use 18'' to get better mileage

I myself would write more here - but the only time i can log in is at between 7 to 7:30 AM before i bring my boyfriend to work - ANY other time "Server too busy" BS message again, or an empty page.

 

And during that time in the morning (like right now) just got no time to write much.......

(Can I get the shop to burn out the carbon from the exhaust then put in fiber?)

Just do your best lah..... think this way, the more you want to keng, surely you will come to hate it, when the feeling of hating the Army comes, theres where all problems and hatred comes in. So, SAF lah... (serve and f*** off) dont think keng2 all this waste your time.

 

Do your best until you fall sick lah, tats the best keng, not only you will build better body, you will learn that in the army thats where you evolves into the person you are.

Many of us have gone thru it and remembered the good old days of the BMT ... why do we remember? Becos it is tough... and it brings on the brotherhood in us to strive together ... I dun blame you for having such a mindset... but I do want you to have a positive mindset while in BMT ... although it is tough... as a guy... we must Tahan... endure ... and learn to enjoy the training ... not fear the training ... I know ... morning wake up .. kena morning run ... then got to go thru SOC ... then outfield ... blah blah blah ... be thankful that all these training are well prepared by the trainers... you just have to follow thru the motion like the rest of the Botak recruits ...

 

Live with it bro ... enjoy it while you're there ... hate me for saying these ... but after few years later in your life ... you'll be like most of us ... remembering our buddies back in the good old days at BMT ... taking cover at lalangs .. doing the stupid leopard crawl ... kena push-ups ... kena extra duties... all the funs of life without worrying of commitments...
