what engine oil is good for rxz ??? Next month im due to change my EO for the 1st time . Any recommendations??

 

elf engine oil semi-syn. cheap and good. $6-$9.

no point using high end engine oil like motul or watever on ur rxz. (claim by mechanic from several shops)

Not scrappin off my wifey's bike, apparently my old fren got interest wif the black bike. So yeah, I can't just give out "stuff from the bike" for ur needs, u gotta do an exchange. Then I'm ok coz watever it is, I still need the bike to be complete! Haha...

 

Anyway, abt tis runnin in thingy, I think there must be a mixed up somewhere rite? I mean if u just bored ur block, don't think u need to do runnin in coz machines tat does boring nowadays are so advance tat I think they can do an almost a perfect bore. Plus those doin ur block should at least polish the newly bored block rite? So yeah, unless ur talkin abt new bearings and stuff, I don't think it's necessary to do the runnin in.

 

Plus I know one guy here who just whacked his new Z n SP4 once he got it frm the shop and the bike is still runnin fine! Haha... Guess who???

everytime i ride my rxz, sometimes when i am changing my 3rd gear to my 4th, like slip into neutral leh... why ah? very funny but really.. i just changed conrod also... could it be the mechanic didnt install back properly? or maybe its my clutch problem? my clutch housing is very noisey...

maybe u just have to kick harder when changing gear. i assume its due to wear and tear of the bike itself. i encounter this problem also even after overhaul. my mechanic told me the problem is actually the gear housing. not sure whether its true or not.

Hmmm... First thing u can do is try playin ard wif ur gear shifter, as in try adjusting ur gear shifter in other positions. Positions which is comfortable for u, not too high and not too low for ur feet. And see how it goes...

Like wat he said, I think no need spend much on engine oil.

I got one uncle near my hse. He told me he only chane EO aftr 6 months, sometimes even more. He said generally 2 stroke motor, the EO is ok, but must jaga 2t. He said once his 2t pump spoil, den u guys know wat will happen.

 

Btw just curious, got any guys here use motul or other expensive 2t here?

Just wondering how the performance will be? Coz i use only esso extra 2t, For me its cheap and gd enough. Wonder if with motul type of 2t will the bike give btr mileage, performance or smoother operation?

cured of cos can. my shop quote me RM400 to settle that problem but he said no point doing it up as the same problem will arise after afew years down the road.

2t pump spoil?? thats the reason i go premix. ahakz.

so far expensive 2t that i've been using is MAXIMA K-2 or Mobil Gold racing 2t. to me no difference when riding. i just want a better 2t for lubricating my block and piston. hehe
