nk spray bole...BUT preparing the works to be sprayed is the most important part of spraying...some ppl say lau spray pkai can tk bagos lah,tk tahan lame lah,nanti crack lah...all these is becos the surface being sprayed is not well prepared...spraying u can learn in a few hrs(if using cans lah..airbrush i thing diff story..hehe)but preparing the items to be sprayed can take u days...always remember this,spraying only takes up 10% of ur hard work...preparing takes up the other 90%

kau nak bikin moto jackpot, kau tak tahu reedvalve tu ape? i know but dunno how to explain uh. ermm. mcm mane eh. its the one connected to ur block and carb. tempat minyak flow. they control the air and fuel mixture which then flows to the cylinder block. ermm. susah uh aku nak explain.

if nt wrong, if your reedvalve's faulty, you will have trouble starting your bike or worst cant start, at first i dont know whats a reedvalve, till i click on the pic on the link wan posted. when i first got my bike and full-serviced it, my mech told me to change it, if not my bike wont be able to start sooner or later.

From what i know,reed-valve is usually located in between the carburator & the block on our bike..i dunno wad its made of but it prevents the mixture(petrol,2t & air) from returning back to the carburator,once it has enter the block..i think the good ones depends on the responsiveness of the valve & durability of it..i notice shops at jb sold them with carbon fibre imprints on them at cheap price but dunno good onot.

both comes with a rain cover & a sling.

rjays bag has a small velcro that face the tank near the magnet,therefore i didn't bot it coz scared it'll scratch the tank..endup i bot the $40 one which is slimmer,the height can be extendable & could snuggly fit a 13" notebook.

most people say boyesen reedvalve is good. could be bought at either weda or FJT @ rowell road.

Ni simple2 ok lah aku explain in it's simplest details. Kalau nak suruh down engine, sorry...........

Wah! Must tell ppl abt the state of my bike ah? :faint:

 

 

 

Easy one! All u hav to do :

 

For fork tubing...

 

1) using size 10" spanner, take off ur head cowling nut from head bracket

2) remove head cowling

3) using size 6mm allen key, loosen bolts of ur handle crown and handlebar(4 bolts in total. For those using old "bullhorn-type handlebar", just loosen the 2 handle crown bolts only.)

4) using size 14" spanner, loosen the steerer under bracket complete's bolts

5) remove front wheel - http://singaporebikes.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6634091&postcount=22037

6) using size 10" spanner(or size 5mm allen key), remove 4 bolts of ur front mudguard fender

7) remove front mudguard fender

8) using size 12" spanner(or 13" or 8mm allen key), remove brake caliper

9) take off fork tubing complete(oil, twist and turn if u hav to...)

 

Putting it back is a matter of repeating back the steps from the bottom...

 

For front fork internals :

 

1) (with the fork tubing already taken out)take off fork cap

2) using size 14mm allen key, remove cap bolt off.

3) pour out fork oil, gasket, spacer, washer and spring

4) using size 8mm allen key, remove fork bottom bolt

5) take off fork inner tube, dust seal, snap ring and oil seal(pry open these 3 if u hav to...)

 

Replenish and repeat steps from the bottom....

 

For rear suspension/gantung :

 

1) remove side cover(original key, 4mm allen key or 8/10" spanner)

2) using size 14" spanner, remove flange nut and washer off the body frame

3) using size 17" spanner(or 8mm allen key), remove bolt off swingarm.

4) remove suspension/gantung

 

Replace and repeat back step...

(Any steps I missed out, do correct me ait... Thanx!)

Oops! Sori... Never meant anythin thgh. For the sush, it shld come wif it. If it dsnt, just swap over frm the old sush to the new one!

eh sorry for wat?? haha.

 

cos last few weeks i tried to invert my sush then the rubber thing i try to take out until like wanna koyak, end up i didnt invert it.

though of inverting it cos fitting a lemang pipe which couldnt fit with the sush, but i loosened the footrest instead then tighten it back.

kalau depan suspect kuat steering cone or tyre pressure. maybe too soft or too hard that makes the bunga macam out of place terkeluar2. susah la pula nak explain. haha.

Bro kalau cut it off terus, u can't even start the bike bro! Wat I noe is they file down the old metal-type reed valve to make it very thin so as to hav better response.

Ur welcome. Anythin can. Since u might be changing to a longer sush, so u might hav to take both sush out first before putting on the new sush...

just wondering. Ive just done front fork servicing including a change in oil seal and the mechanic not putting this circular part into the fork back after fixing. Is the circular thing need not need to put? Bike RXZ btw.

Tat would be the dust seal. I bet u alrdy noe wat tat thing is for from it's name...
