Thanx to those who came down and support the last min bike wash yestd. ESP those who came frm the other side of the island and came dwn to the west and those who just finished their tarawih/work/sacrificed a bit of time frm their luv ones... Namely Azmi Krazy & his 2 "mat rempz" Rxz frens, Nosey, Apai, Alep, Wantongkol & his 2 frens, riding a Kentut Rebus & Spark(?)... XP Hope to see u guys again tis coming 8th for our annual pre-raya bike wash...

AFAIK,RXZ if 2T pump you set 3 thread above it will not cause overheat provided you must fill good grade 2T.However if you always play pick up engine tend to heat fast.If you plan to go JB from SG the best thing gear 1,2,3 dont drag.I ever ride My pekak RXZ from Ulu Chor,JB to Eunos without stopping(Except SG Custom there once) still can maintain 110kmh on PIE all the way back.I also pour a capful of 2T into the tank.One thing i know mat rempit got open the rubber on the engine scale then they do some mod to let in more air to cool the engine.

 

Ouh ur refering to those tubing inserted at the EO inlet eh? Oh so tats the job of those pipe. I always thght tat those are to let the "wap" or vapours to evaporate out wen things get hot inside the engine. XD

 

Anyway just to share wif u guys, last time me and a few other forumers wen to ride up to Melaka. We filled up once at GP's Petronas and if it wasn't for the X1-R wif it's 4 litres tank, we can ride tat full tank all the way up to Melaka non-stop! All of us travelled at average speed of 120km/h despite the hot 2nd link road conditions. And also the fact tat some of us are on "high rev" settings! And yeah, we did wat Ride&Drive said; put a capful of 2t inside our tank for extra precaution before setting off. We survived, tis bein the fact tat my freshly replenished 4t dried up upon reaching Melaka. Lesson learn : don't use Petronas 4000 4t, 10W 40 before any long haul journey. Lol!!!

 

So yeah, frm tis I can say tat it's rare for our bike to go kaput if we haha our 2t and 4t...

 

anyone knows where to do helmet inner padding/cushion replacement ?

how much is coverset kotak at jb anyone knows ? just the whole coverset, without the brackets, as i have the brackets already.

Syam not that getah pipe fit into the eo inlet,The engine itself got a rectangular rubber that stuck in between the engine scale,They somehow mod(Like bengkok) a bit to let more cool air come in during high speed,BTW Syam if i wanna fit Michelin 100/80-17 into the rear would it affect the top speed and pick up?

yea can replace, but the shop no more already, its the shop that does seat re-wrap near LAB, 2 shops beside it, can replace the cushion for $20.

Ouh... Ur talkin abt the block is it? Those rubber "absorbers" tat seats in between the top head groove is it? Wah! Vibration tak makin rabak ke if mod or take out tat one?

 

Regarding ur tyre, definitely bigger tyres will affect ur pick up, top and F/C of ur bike. Berat bo! Even if it's on 17" rims. Anyway, wat's the width of ur rim ah?

Go down ur block, find any CB400 wif Showa and without the sush lock (or anythin tat prevents opening), wait for nite fall, bring along Allen key size 5mm and spanner size 17/19mm - project! XP
