anyone knows abt the eddies website that can be used to check whether one has already committed an offense? is the website refreshed every hour or? cause i wan to check my status see got kanna book for anything.. so want to check asap..

That site doesn't update.. My friend's mom received a letter for running red lights 2 months after the offence. During the 2 months, he checked the site daily and it didn't show any offences, receive letter already also nothing updated..

Hi, went in to check. Pardon me, but 0 points is supposed to be good right? cos I'm on 2A probation and I crashed last year leh..TP said I'll be deducted 6points..so I thot I'll only have 6points??

they replied 1 week for the date of offence it will be updated on eddies.

 

Hmm.. this is not from funny sources and is from TP DIRECT.

Redlight cam,Stationary Speed Cam,Unmark TP Vehicle...

 

Redlight Cam/Stationary Speed Cam(Not those manned by police officer) - they nid to collect the film by hand..

 

Unmark TP Vehicle - will film u in action on their viewcam and will send the tape back for reviews before deciding whether to fine u..

 

That's why some ppl receive their summon onli after awhile..

from my experience on eddies...

 

got summon on 1 feb 04 for not giving way to pedestrian. kenna fine and 6pts. i was on 2A then so i was left with 6pts. TP letter came 1-2 weeks later. i check eddies after trying appeal(unsuccessful) and it registered 6pts.

 

in august i kenna another offence for going against flow of traffic(6 pts). so by right, shd kenna kantong. but appeal was successful. this time i check eddies before my appeal and it only recorded my previous offence. i believe your offence will only be registered in the system when it is confirmed(after any appeal attempts).

 

so finally this year i crossed over 1 Feb 05. so happy to have lasted the year without any other offences. went to eddies to check and it still registered my 6pts. but this time it had a comment that said that offences due for clearing will only be cleared at the end of the month! wah kaoz! so it was only cleared in 1 Mar 05. now it reflects 0 points.

 

anywhere else we can check when riders finally get their 24pts? 0 points is not indicative of how many points you currently have right?

0pts means u have not accumulated any pts yet, it also means u have a full 24pts
