if i kana nail i juz patch it.

i once dunno kana wat ard the expressway where contruction is on going plus my tyres goin botak den sudden pop sound n my tyres soften very fast.have 2 call towing n go bike shop patch but the hole damn big.like a knife pop in.cant patch it n have 2 change. :giddy:

To play safe, I've change both tyres into Metzler Sportec M1 @ S$280/- ... Is it cheap or Ex ?

i have kanna nail b4

but i just remove the nails,

seemed like it not deep enough to cost a punture but got a small crack there lah.

can i just leave it like that or i need to patch up?

my rear tyre kena sharp object somewhere between 2nd link and JB...rode for around 20km to a bike shop there and got it patched up for RM5...dat was more than 1 year ago..up this moment, my tyre still going strong...

well bro.. keep checking maybe once a week or two week..put some water or soap water to see if bubbleds pop out.....

 

also to note.... which part has nail in it...

if the nail hit the area where there is a thicker thread (where that areas touches the ground when riding)... it shouls be ok..

if the nail hits the area , the lower section of the ttire... just haf to check... if no air comes out.. then it should be ok.. just check when u r washing bike or least once a month....

well bro.. thts possible plus i haf experiance this before...

even after patching.. just check the patch once in a while.. thts good enough already....:cheer: :cheer:

If my tyres are very new, i will patch.

If they are very old, i will change.

i am not that rich to change tyres every few months. One good pair of S4 tyres cost about $300 leh!!!

In my 3 yrs of riding, i have kena punctured twice liaoz. Once in the rear wheel, once in the front wheel.

Anyway, i dun play corner or track, so patched tyres should be ok for me

May 2005 - July 2007: Honda Phantom TA200 (FU 3*** S)

July 2007 - Dec 2016: Honda CB400 Spec III (FBB 7***X)

Dec 2016 - Aug 2017: Yamaha FZ1N (FBD 4***E)

Aug 2017 - Present: Kawasaki Z1000SX (FBF 6***B)
