I do not have an AGV, but I'm able to fit in my fullface Shoei, Shark and OGK in, with space to spare for a set of raincoat.

Hi everyone! Dinie recommended that I shift my thread to the VFR Group. Hope to get your uber-valuable advice!

Anyway, I'm really interested in getting a VFR 800 for touring. Unfortunately, it's such a good bike and no one wants to let go! (Case in point)

I'm looking out for one, but no way will I be buying the brand new VFR 1200 model, as it's going at $36,000! (May as well buy a car lor).

Where do you think I can get me a VFR? And will servicing or parts be a problem with the older models?

Where did you get that? I asked Mah when they first brought in the first evaluation bike some months ago and they quoted $28K bike price.

$36k now eh phew. No wonder I don't see any on the road.

Back to yr query, there are always some for sale within this forum altho price is always the sticking point, so do an advance search. I particularly like the 5th genner aka non vTec or underseat-exhaust model.

I was doing some reading on the older models of VFR. I think the '08 model would probably be the best one.

Any recommendations?

I see. But I do understand that some of the older models happen to have a low-speed / low gear problem? That it runs a little sluggish at the low end. Will this affect general road riding in singapore, and fuel consumption?

Hi guys....am riding a gen 5 '01...

today my trip mileage button is damaged...the whole button was pushed inwards now its gone and there's a hole! still can press the "inside" button using something longer to poke it but the rubber button is gone...

anyone encounter this problem before? any ideas whether need to replace whole unit, or can just replace the button (not hoping too much for this)?

2006-2010 : Honda Super 4 Spec I

2010-2012 : Honda VFR 800 5th Gen

There's no way you can just replace the button most probably you need to change the whole thing.....also since there is a hole where the button was I would advise u to try cover it up as water might seep in when raining

hi there !

if ur looking for a new one , u might want to check with FJT or EverSuccess for the parts .

They might have the parts.

All the best !
