oh ok hmm another thing after washing ur aftermarket air filter do u have this flapping sound like piak piak piak when 1.2k-2.5k rpm like thing flapping

 

one more thing check with u all

what ur charging for ur bike ?

 

mine idle 12.x sometime down to 11.8-11.9 but back to 12 soon

after 3k 13.x-14.6

all this with full light on

 

no light idle is 14.4-14.6

 

is it normal ?

blinking fuel gauge means it enter reserve tank. 270km shld b around there. it all depends on how much pressure u twist on ur right hand.

i twist very little on throttle one haha, hmm like this my charging got problem ? cus 3k will go back 14.4 is like suddenly like this one, idle full light last time 13.x now 12.x

my idle is around 1.1-1.4k not very sure

As with Leo mine idling or moving still around 14.2 to 14.5.....hhmmm.....either ur voltmeter not accurate or there really is a charging problem......do send to a mech to check it out......

 

btw noticed when my VTEC kicks in my voltage will drop a bit....anyone else?

any1 encounter speedometer reading hunting up & down when on the road at 6th gear rpm at 4000? I recently meet it, cleaned the speed sensor but to no avail. Read from VFRWorld said its the speed drum gave way. Now waiting Norman from Racewerks to come bk from Italy....Sigh....

 

any1 can contribute wats' also the possibility?

Problem solved......due to speed sensor damaged. Changed a new 1 & the speed is reading as good as new

i am keen to get something similar to improve grip on the tank as when knee start to sweat the feeling is very =/ while rubbing against the tank

Hi guys....riding a gen 5 '01...

 

today my trip mileage button is damaged...the whole button was pushed inwards now its gone and there's a hole! still can press the "inside" button using something longer to poke it but the rubber button is gone...

 

anyone encounter this problem before? any ideas whether need to replace whole unit, or can just replace the button (not hoping too much for this)?

 

bro so did u managed to find the replacement? btw, is gen 5 similar to gen 6 in the meter display? if similar, I have the spare meter cover.
