My view is that if you can ride and control the bike - does it matter what gender you are? In fact - having ladies on bikes will "hopefully" also up the glamour (if you can call it that) of riding bikes. At least some of the ladies I see riding are quite fashionable...

 

In other countries - like Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand, etc. - you will see that ladies ride bike - a whole lot of them too.

 

I remember one article in the net that the wife is starting to ride bikes and is starting with a "starter" bike @ 600cc!!!

 

So should ladies ride - of course they should.

 

A bigger question to ask is - How to get Drivers to give a bit more space and respect for bikers? No offense meant but taxi drivers and dumper trucks and vans scare the hell out of me!!
