I was in Alpha company till 2002 as a PC. I had took a total of almost 4 batches before i ord. It was the 2nd batch that holds the deepest memories that will etched in me for quite a while.

 

Every batch would be required to go for field camp and this batch marks the begining of the 10days straight field camp implementation..

On the 2nd day of field camp which is permatang ( Rubber plantation ), the recruits are suppose to build the bashas in the morning and go for training in the afternoon.

Night befall on us sooner dan we had expected. I was sleeping the admin area when 1 of sergeants woke me up and told me to rush to 1 of the bashas.... When i reached the basha wat i saw shocked me completely. 1 of my recruits who was a indian was being restrained by his platoon mates and he was swearing at everybody in hokkien (Except that this recruit doesnt know a single bit of hokkien at all). Immediately we woke the medic up and were preparing for evacuation to the medical center. But all of a sudden the recruit managed to break free (imagine 5 recruits holding him down) and ran away.

We managed to fasten him to the stretcher of the medic to hold him after chasing him like 15 minutes. When we reach the medical center, the recruit was still cursing and swearing in hokkien and trying to break free. As we were at the medical center, 1 of the enciks who was doing his duty that night told us that he was possessed. Even the MO on duty that night wasnt able to tell us what actually happened to him. The MO then injected sedatives to calm the recruit and put him to sleep... However 2 amopules of diazepam wasnt able to hold him down. He was later then evacuated to CGH.

When he came from back from CGH, he looked completely different liao and even behave differently. He just became more 'feminie'

Aiya u r so blunt lah.

Chow geng dont noe meh, all u need is to be more persistent, perserverence and born actor can liao lor.

An indian learning a few hokkien bad words so difficult meh??? as for my self i can speak bad words of the following languages, chinese(hakka,hokkien,cantonese,teochew),malay,indian,japanese,burma,german,english.

Not tryin to be proud or buay pai say by saying this but just trying to let u all noe we can and able to learn if we want lor.

 

Well i have a personal experience i am gonna share with u guys out there.

During reservice i am an Enchik of support company, got this men which look very normal to me came to my company as he is a new men so i took extra time to look at him as he is wierd. after several experience in the day ok lah still acceptable but after the run in the afternoon this guy look stone liao. he drank from the water cooler and stand straight beside the water cooler it was around 4 in the day.

I never really notice it until it was 6pm cos i going to get dinner, he was still there standing straight. I never react that time so i happily go for dinner and Emart lor, after that of cos when for canteen break lor. after that around 9 he is still there i go up to him and talk to him but he stone stone 1 never reply me so i cant be bordered lor. went back to my air-con office to surf net and at about 10 i went for a leak he is still there and the rest of my men notice it and came talk to me liao.

 

This time i went up to him force him to talk and stare hard at him until i buay tahan cos i have short temper. i made my move and start slappin him forcing him to fight with me lor. But he still gong gong let me slap, i admit i was a bit blunt and naive that time so i approach the warren officers and officers but i can tell u warren officers not as garang as me they r concern bout this matter but they r not so clever and not enough guts and use talk only to solve my problem.

At that time i again buay tahan suan the warren officers and officers which is suppose to be commandos, guards,whatever. I said something so bad that they tot of charging me lor. but i just show my wallet to them and say i can afford to let them charge me 10 times cos at that time reservice ppl kanna charge only max $50 fine.

 

Ok lets come back to the wierd guy, i told the warren officers & officers since they have no idea of solving i give them 2 of my best ideas of treating chow geng ppl. 1st-to ask a few of my strong hokkien peng give him a welcome blackout party, 2nd we move up and grab him and do it ourself. they say wat if he reacted and jump , i just replied this is the 2nd floor he wont really die by plunging down. After that a started to look down on the officers and warren officers as they sucks.

 

so eventually the medics activated ,ambulance came that crazy guy was sent to the nearest hospital as the medical officer dont even dare touch him and examin him properly (buay gan).my medic went with him lor.................story gonna end liao.

 

 

at the medical center my medic says once he reach the hospital he will talk liao, and ans the doc and nurses their question. after that get a book out no need to come back liao...

 

That is wat i call determination, persistent and perseverence work for CHOW GENG. that guy i really salute. if i get to see him again and he come out this spot during reservice i will slap a few more times and go to bed see next morning will i still see him standing there.

 

So Xrsin after hearing my long story how will u rate that indain man saying `a few hokkien bad words.

Close encounter or drunk.....?

 

Last month i was at Phuket with some friends attending some events, then we head down to some of the local clubs and hopping from bar to bar. All of us (include my thai friends) got quite drunk but having a great time, because those bars were near to our hotel so we decided to walk back. It was around 3 plus in the morning, everywhere was so quiet,shop and bars were close,but it would only cross a few street and it will reach our hotel. While crossing the third street, it took our attention as that street was fully crowded(it so strange as mention before,everywhere and place were close), so due to curiousity we walk in and thought we can join the fun or at least kpo, anyway we are drunk. It was so pack full with people but surprisingly theres not even a single sound or noise, i ask my thai friend why is it so late that this street is full of people,but all of a sudden i found out that he face tuen pale and just kept silence. John(my singapore friend) saw these few kids playingalong the street and he make a remark how come these kids dont sleep as it like 3plus in the morning.....and i do notice after he said that,those kids went to their parents and stand still looking at us. They start whisphering, saying somethings that i dont understand, so i ask my thai friend again but he just shivering and ask me to walk faster, thats where i find somethings is not right,so i quickly ask my friends to leave the street. We went back to hotel safe but were very tired so all just went to sleep straight(my thai friend had left after sending us to hotel)

 

I woke up the next day,and found out that john mouth was swallon. I call my thai friend to come over but he insist us going over to his apartment and stay at another town to party, didnt want to ask much so all of us went over. When we reach his apartment,he took all of us to the nearest temple to pray,and he told us this:......

 

Last night when we went to that "crowded" street and he saw alot of familiar faces while walking in. But then realise that those familiar faces are friends whom had already pass away in Tsunami, and he notice all the "people" there are also same, as some of them dont even have a proper face or rotten body. And when i ask him what does those parents said,he heard that they were scolding john why is he so busybody saying their children, and they wanted to chase us away as we dont belong there. After hearing what he said,we later went back there again(our hotel is just 2 streets away from that "crowded" street) and check but theres no sign of anything and best of all,it was a ruin grass patch....

well if 10 normal person can restrain me i say they r very good liao.

Well if he wanna learn hokkien vulgar language of cos must pronounce it properly lah.

Anyway i noe 1 way to prove that they r real possess or chow geng. when they seem like possess liao throw them a heavy punch if he doesnt fall means he is possess liao if not then chow geng lor. Since u said ppl thay kana possess is so powerful.

ok i put somthing i heard again

 

 

Somewhere in 1998, i was working as a helper in one of the restaurants near Paya Lebar MRT. During one occasion, this family was having dinner at the restaurant. The daughter was sick but they still come out for a meal. The last cubicle of the ladies toilet was locked, i not sure why lah, maybe out of order or wat. But i did hear from a few staff dat there was another 'presence' inside there.............but they just leave it alone.

 

 

The daughter went into the toilet, she was very sure at that time, she was alone. As she was in the last 2nd cubicle, suddenly she heard someone crying softly inside the last cubicle. A lady's. She was damn scared, quickly went out to tell her family wat's she had heard.

The father made a complaint to the supervisor, why there was someone crying inside the cubicle, the person could be suicidal. He demanded the restaurant staff should go and take a look.

 

 

As for the rest of the floor staff, including the supervisor, they knew the last cubicle was 'not clean'. But they cunt possibly say directly to the father. So no choice, she called the GM to go and take a look. (She oso scared lah) The GM tried knocking on the cubicle's door, but no response. After making sure dat no one was inside, then he used a chair n climbed up to see.

 

 

The GM told the father and the rest, there was really no one. But the daughter insisted dat she could never hear wrongly. Since, the GM had already confirmed there's nobody, the father got to reassure his daughter, then they continued having dinner again. But the next morning, the 'news' was finally broke out to the staff. Actually the GM did see a lady in white squatting inside crying, unable to see her face coz' her long hair was covering it!! He wanted business of course unable to tell the father wat he had seen, then who would dare to patronise the restaurant again.

 

 

In the noon time, he ordered three pots of Japanese bamboo plants to be placed inside the toilet. i dunno wat its significance, but it's the most unbelievable incident i would ever forget! The sky started to turn dark. then there was a sudden downpour n thunder. The wind was blowing strongly. All of a sudden, the lights in the toilet were flickering! Yes, i was there, standing outside the toilet, just couldn't believe it. The rest of the floor staff oso stood together outside, watching the technicians repairing the lights. They just couldn't get them fixed! the wind was damn strong, blowing at those Jap bamboo plants, everything else in the toilet. it appeared so dramatic!

I thought i was dreaming, i really thought only 'such scenes appeared on TV' (referring to thos ghost stories) but it was here, appeared in front of our eyes!

 

 

The technicians took about an hr to get those lights fixed. By then, the wind had died down. Everything was calm again. But after this incident, i heard from one of the staff, initially those waitresses would visit the toilet in pair, but after some time, they claimed they dun feel the 'presence' anymore. i was really puzzled by this whole incident, by placing those so-called plants so effective to get rid of those 'stuff'.....??!

i used to work part-time at a resort. there are no vacant rooms for 'special guests' simply because they can't pay but if you're paranoid, keep this action figure at the side of your pillow..

open the door got this strange smell..feel uneasy but still take the room as

i don't believe in this spooky stuffs happening in hotels.But i'm shocked to find a bible in one of the drawer.

 

is it norm to have bible in the hotel room

oh please.. most hotel rooms have bibles in the drawers for christians and a green arrow marked on the ceiling for muslims to pray. it's just for religious convenience, there are no ghosts FFS.

Depends on the hotel establishments, I guess. Usually when I went to the hotels overseas, there is a bible kept in one of the drawers. When I went to Indonesia, there is a Quran instead. However I believe that if you don't disturb 'them', 'they' have no reason to disturb you...

Here's a true account of what happened when I stayed in Japan, Kobe. Its happened in a hotel called Luminous Hotel [Ya I know its a funny name but dun ask me why]

 

A group of us [10 to be precise] stayed on the 7th floor, 5 rooms to 2 of us each. Just so happened that after a light night supper, we reach the hotel about 1 plus. On our way back, we bought many tidbits, magazines and booze from the convenience store across the street outside the hotel as we intend to stay up late to talk c*** sing song. The plan was that everybody gather in just one room to chill out.

 

When we reached the 7th floor, 9 of us head to the end of the corridor's room while my friend who sleeps in the same room as me decided to go change his shoes to slippers. When he open the door to the room, all was dark but he could see someone lying face-down from the light shining in from the corridor. Thinking IT WAS ME, he proceed to change and came over to look for us. Thats when he saw me with the other guys then he look shocked. We went back to that room, switch on all the lights, as expected nobody was around. But on my bed, there's was a depression on the blanket as though somebody had lie on it.

 

His explanation was that when we arrived at 7th floor on 2 different lifts, he thought I had went back to room and lie down, taking a break from the walking and so he didn't woke me nor switch on the lights while all the time when I reach 7th floor with the first lift, I had gone straight to my friend's room at the end of the corridor.... Can't imagine what he would encounter if he had called out to the "person" whom he presumed was me or had switch on the lights....
