i think LTA will send u a letter ask you want to renew anot or display or other... If u really want to know you need to wait till Jul 2012 and i will be able to tell you the answer.

update. i found the source of the problem already.

 

i opened my box to keep my stuff this morning and i IMMEDIATELY found out that one of the wires came off from the...... ummm......... crimped connector.

 

its almost as if i opened the box and the wire shouted at me "HEY I'VE COME LOOSE!"

update. i found the source of the problem already.

i opened my box to keep my stuff this morning and i IMMEDIATELY found out that one of the wires came off from the...... ummm......... crimped connector.

hahahaha basic electrical skill - this needs to be perfected otherwise lots of loose end/problem will start to appear. Our HID installer always never fail to get this right & the last job came back to us & it took us 3 hours jus to check it was a loose connector - so open circuit - no power - no HID lighs...

thats the thing about electronics. there can be so many causes as to why a bulb wont light up.

 

and if the wires are bee-hoon-ed, gd luck in finding that disconnected point.

oh yes Uncle Lim, I'm currently doing my attachment till 30th June before I go back to school again in July. by then i'll have more free time on my hand... I'd like to know if u still have the LED strips for the box? I'm refering to the left/right indicators strips u have on ur box... the ones i fell in love with

Yes, mate I still have those 15LEDs strip I will keep 3 of them aside for you btw u must decide how many to use - u dun hv to install all 15 led on the strip - we can cut them.

I am now tooling this 15LED strip for solar & battery application - using them as room lighting.

hmmm going green i see... so does that mean the LED strips will be solar powered?

just curious, what are ur shop's operating hours? or rather more imptly, when are u usually around?

Yes, they can be solar powered directly if need be but a better choice would be using solar to charge the battery in the daytime then using the battery to light the LEDs at nite. I do & will be travelling - jus call b4 you think you can comeby.
