my recent check was 100KmH-7K+RPM, 120KmH-8K+RPM. full throttle sitting upright 140Kmh.

 

rider about 50kg, with box.

just changed my tires frm irc to bt39..now can only hit 90kph at 7k rpm =s no chance to test 100kph yet

is there something wrong with my bike? only 6 mths old but like particularly slow..

will changing clutch springs help? anyone mind pointing out the msia shop location?

It's the original blue-black paintwork, just that the head fairing and the tail end is plain. I'll try ask around the shops, but at least I got a rough indication of the price. I might post the bike up for sale in the forum with one of the prices I'm quoted since the shops are going to sell it at a higher price anyway. At least it's still cheaper to get it through this forum.

somehow the trade in value for cbr150 isn't exactly high, at least during the earlier times

things could have changed now since cbr150 is getting more common

no need racing clutch springs lar. let zed or zongren or master derrick take yr bike for 15min. it will come back w/ a new top speed of 150kmph.

 

put mi as the rider and u probably get 130kmph max.

and u probably need slightly stronger left hand fingers after changing to the racing clutch springs

Perfectly normal ah.... make sure u pump tyre regularly.... on nicely inflated ones i can hit 90 at 6.5KRPM....

Hey, just a question... While u were using irc tyres, what was ur required RPM whilst hitting 90km/hr?

 

Im using T900, takes 7.5rpm to hit 90... And im 57kg..

it's on a 110/70 size. it's the rated as stated on the tyre.

usually 220 for the front is fine.

 

but for rear can be tricky depending on the weight of ur pillion, frequency of having a pillion, whether u have a box etc etc.

im 40kg..on stock tires i hit 95 at 7k rpm, 100 at ard 7.5k rpm..now hitting 100 at ard 8k =s

Unfortunately, there is no way to reach 100kph on CBR0.15k's first gear. U should try on ur S4, see whether u can reach 100kph on first gear or not.
