Nope.. I bought my bike at Mah, first hand, on hire-purchase. Need to get TPFT. I figured it's insurance for them in case the bike gets stolen or caught on fire, then they'll definitely get the money owed to them by hire purchase.

 

No complaints considering I left my key at my bike on 3 occasions and could have my bike stolen on any one of those occasions.

 

do make it a habit to lock handlebar each time take out key.

 

i lock my handlebar even when i off engine to pump air into tyres. habit liao...

tink going to be quite difficult to get color of yr choice, esp when it is 2nd hand and a rather rare model available. settle for wats affordable then slowly spend more time and money to do up the bike~

How come? U need to unlock the pax seat or box to put ur helmet, unless u always bring ur helmet off ur bike after riding.

 

Actually i did it once also few days after get my bike. After secure the helmet on the pax seat, forgot to take out the key. Coz the key is block by the helmet, so cannot see. After watch movie, kanciong find my key. LOL

hmm m.p 7k, 1st hand, my insurance 1.4k. coz im 19 plus and a p plate rider. i find e bike quite thin la. but similar to e bike at bbdc. onli its a bit tall for me. but so far ok la.. for transport wise, shld not be a problem =) eyy btw, where all of u stay? if west gd lor..

I (i think Don also) thought u buying 2nd hand, coz u said want to re-spray. Cool. Just buy new bike thinking of re-spraying alrdy.

All times is unlock pax seat for some purpose.. Parking coupon, get cloth to wipe bike or something like dat.. I always being my helmet with me. The key is always left at the seat keyslot.

 

1 suggestion for u, dont use too bright color key chain, best same color with the nearby the pax seat lock. Also, if these 3 occasions happen when u on the way back home, put the house and bike key at the same key chain. So forget means cannot go in ur house.

Singapore road so light up, y scared? If really scared, buy very bright color jacket loh. If don like coz too hot, buy those very thin & bright color cloth, like the one those road construction workers wear 1. Pasar malam around 5-6bucks only. Then wear white color helmet.

phew..more than twice the cost of my bike sia

sometimes got outings ah..the most recent major outing was to steamboat near bugis i think. wow..cbr family growing le! maybe shud organise another meet up after exams or sth lol

 

stock ah..maybe its me la..but i skidded thrice on those tires during wet weather, and once during dry weather (ok, but it was my fault for jamming brakes =x) kenneth also skidded twice before he changed to battlax (bridgestone brand of tyres)

Wah!! Price went up so much? When I bought 2 years ago, new bike, 19 yo, P-plate.. otr only $6.6k.. After $1.2k downpayment, interest on the remaining loan.. Total is $7.2k..
